Jets' Josh Morrissey: Won't need knee surgery
Morrissey (knee) stated Tuesday that he will not require surgery for the injury he sustained in Game 6 against the Stars, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
Morrissey also said that his knee injury probably would have kept him sidelined for the remainder of the playoffs had the Jets advanced past the Stars. It's unclear if Morrissey will be ready for the start of training camp in September, but he has plenty of time to attempt to make a full recovery. The left-shot blueliner has two seasons remaining on the eight-year, $50 million contract he signed with Winnipeg in September of 2019.

Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Picks up assist
Vilardi recorded an assist in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.
Vilardi picked up four points over six games in the second round. That was an improvement for the 25-year-old after he was held off the scoresheet in three first-round outings following his return from an upper-body injury. Vilardi added 21 shots on net, 11 hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over nine playoff outings. He was a regular in the Jets' top six in 2024-25, earning 27 goals and 61 points in 71 regular-season games. He's a restricted free agent this offseason, but he should be back in the fold for 2025-26 once he signs a new deal.

Jets' Kyle Connor: Records helper in loss
Connor notched an assist and four shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.
Connor closed the postseason on a four-game point streak (one goal, four assists). The winger totaled five goals, 12 helpers, 45 shots on net, 11 hits and a plus-4 rating over 13 playoff appearances while frequently looking like the best player on the ice for the Jets. After a strong playoff run and a career-best 97-point regular season, Connor is poised for big things in 2025-26, which is a contract year for the 28-year-old.

Jets' Mark Scheifele: Scores emotional goal in Game 6
Scheifele scored a goal, doled out nine hits and added two PIM in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.
Just hours after the unexpected death of his father, Scheifele chose to suit up in Game 6 with the Jets facing elimination. He gave them a storybook start, scoring the opening goal at 5:28 of the second period, but in a cruel twist, the 32-year-old was in the penalty box when the Stars won the game in overtime. Scheifele ends the playoffs at five goals, six assists and 22 shots on net over 11 appearances. All the best to Scheifele and his family as they navigate the heartbreaking loss of a loved one.

Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Exits playoffs with overtime loss
Hellebuyck stopped 18 of 20 shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.
Hellebuyck picked up a couple of shutouts in the series, but he lost all three games in Dallas as well as one in Winnipeg. The 31-year-old went 6-7 with a 3.08 GAA and an .866 save percentage over 13 playoff games. Hellebuyck was winless on the road in the postseason, which was a major factor in the Jets' second-round exit, though he remains one of the best regular-season goalies in the league. He'll be the No. 1 between the pipes for the Jets again in 2025-26.

Jets' Josh Morrissey: Needs further evaluation
Morrissey sustained a knee injury in Saturday's Game 6 loss to the Stars, and head coach Scott Arniel specified that the injury is "not good," Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.
Morrissey was injured when Mikko Rantanen fell on his leg in the second period. Given the update from Arniel, it's likely Morrissey would have missed some time had the Jets been able to extend their season. The severity of the injury may be revealed once the defenseman is evaluated back in Winnipeg. If surgery is required, this injury may impact his availability for training camp and the start of the 2025-26 campaign.

Jets' Mark Scheifele: Playing in Game 6
Scheifele (personal) will be in the lineup for Game 6 against Dallas on Saturday, Murat Ates of The Athletic reports.
Scheifele's father, Brad, unexpectedly passed away Friday night, but the Winnipeg forward believes his dad would've wanted him to be on the ice with his teammates. The 32-year-old Scheifele has earned four goals and 10 points through 10 contests this postseason. In Saturday's matchup against the Stars, he will skate on the top line and see time on the first power-play unit.

Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Tending twine in Dallas
Hellebuyck will defend the road net versus the Stars on Saturday in Game 6, according to Nicholas J. Cotsonika of NHL.com.
Hellebuyck stopped all 22 shots he faced in a 4-0 win over Dallas on Thursday in Game 5. He has earned a 6-6 record with two shutouts, a 3.18 GAA and an .863 save percentage across 12 appearances this postseason. Hellebuyck has gone 0-5 with a 5.84 GAA and a .793 save percentage on the road during the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Jets' Mark Scheifele: Availability unclear for Game 6
Scheifele (personal) is questionable for Game 6 against Dallas on Saturday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.
Scheifele's father, Brad, passed away Friday night, and it is too early to know right now if the 32-year-old forward will be available to play against the Stars. Scheifele could be a game-time decision for the matchup. He has four goals and 10 points through 10 contests this postseason. If Scheifele sits out, David Gustafsson, Dominic Toninato or Rasmus Kupari could face Dallas on Saturday.

Jets' Alex Iafallo: Dishes power-play assist
Iafallo logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5.
The helper was Iafallo's first point since the playoff opener April 19 versus the Blues. The 31-year-old winger has seen the occasional promotion to a top-six role, but he most frequently works on the fourth line, which explains his limited offense. He's at two points, 16 shots on net, 42 hits, eight blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 12 playoff games.

Jets' Cole Perfetti: Notches helper in win
Perfetti registered a shorthanded assist, four shots on goal, six hits and two PIM in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5.
Perfetti had been held off the scoresheet in the first four games of the second round. The 23-year-old is still in a second-line role, but he's been under 15 minutes of ice time in four of five games versus the Stars in this series. The winger has contributed six points, 27 shots on net, 29 hits and a minus-3 rating across 12 playoff outings.

Jets' Neal Pionk: Generates two helpers in win
Pionk logged two assists (one on the power play), six hits and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5.
Pionk got on the scoresheet for the first time in the second round in this contest. He helped out on Mark Scheifele's opening tally in the second period and Vladislav Namestnikov's power-play goal in the third. Pionk is up to seven points, 23 shots on net, 42 hits, 16 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 12 playoff contests. He continues to see top-four minutes and will play a big role defensively if the Jets are able to pull off a comeback against the Stars, who lead the series 3-2 after Game 5.

Jets' Kyle Connor: Supplies pair of assists
Connor logged two assists, including one on the power play, and three shots on goal in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5.
Connor set up the Jets' first two goals, scored by Mark Scheifele and Nikolaj Ehlers. With four points over his last three games, Connor is back in form after struggling early in the second round. The winger is at five goals, 11 helpers, 41 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-3 rating across 12 playoff outings in his usual roles on the first line and top power-play unit.

Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Earns pair of points
Namestnikov scored a power-play goal on three shots, dished a shorthanded assist, logged three hits and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5.
Namestnikov was involved in the Jets' last two goals of the game to help them stay in the playoffs for at least one more contest. These were his first points in the second round. The 32-year-old center is at three goals, three helpers, 14 shots on net, 29 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 12 playoff outings. Since Mark Scheifele returned from an upper-body injury at the start of the second round, Namestnikov has been back in his usual middle-six role.

Jets' Mark Scheifele: One of each in win
Scheifele scored a goal on three shots, added a power-play assist and logged two PIM in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5.
Scheifele's tally at 6:17 of the second period stood as the game-winner in the shutout. He also helped out on Nikolaj Ehlers' goal early in the third. Scheifele has two goals and two assists over five games in the second round. The center is at four goals, 10 points, 21 shots on net, 12 hits, 14 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 10 appearances this postseason.

Jets' Nikolaj Ehlers: Tallies twice in Game 5 win
Ehlers scored two goals on five shots in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5.
Ehlers gave the Jets a 2-0 lead early in the third period with a power-play tally, and he added a shorthanded empty-netter to close out the contest. This effort gave Ehlers five goals and a helper over five games in the second round. The winger is at seven points (two on the power play) with 30 shots on net, 12 hits and a plus-2 rating over seven playoff appearances.

Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Extends season with shutout win
Hellebuyck posted a 22-save shutout in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5.
This was Hellebuyck's second shutout in a row on home ice, which made for a good rebound after he lost both of the previous two games of the series in Dallas. The 31-year-old has had extreme home/road splits this postseason, going 6-1 with 13 goals allowed on 154 shots (.916 save percentage) at home while posting an 0-5 record, a 5.84 GAA and a .793 save percentage on the road. He'll have to face those road demons in Game 6 on Saturday, as the Jets are still facing elimination.
