Predators' Nick Blankenburg: Grabs helper in shootout win
Blankenburg notched an assist in Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks.
Blankenburg ended a four-game point drought when he set up Filip Forsberg's game-tying goal late in the third period. The 26-year-old Blankenburg has done well to secure his spot in the lineup for Nashville, often playing on the second pairing in recent weeks. He has just five points through 22 outings, though he's added 35 shots on net, 23 hits, 24 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating to provide decent numbers in non-scoring areas.

Predators' Steven Stamkos: Scores 15th goal of season
Stamkos scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks.
Stamkos has scored three goals and recorded four points over his last two games, and it seems the two-game stretch in which he went pointless between Jan. 7 and Jan. 11 was nothing more than a bump on the road for the 34-year-old veteran. He has six points (four goals, two assists) in six games in January.

Predators' Juuse Saros: Earns shootout win Thursday
Saros stopped 24 of 26 shots in Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks.
Saros bounced back after losing his previous two starts, and even though he needed a shootout to get the victory, he still found a way to get back to winning ways. The Predators' struggles on defense have hurt Saros, though. Over his last six games, he's gone 2-4-0 with a 3.02 GAA and an .879 save percentage.

Predators' Filip Forsberg: Scoring streak reaches four games
Forsberg scored a goal, took seven shots and recorded six hits in Thursday's 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks.
Forsberg has been on a tear of late and has found the back of the net in four straight outings while also extending his point streak to six appearances. The 30-year-old remains one of the most productive players for Nashville, and even though he's not on pace to repeat the 94-point campaign he delivered in 2023-24, he's still a reliable offensive weapon for the Predators. Forsberg is up to 38 points across 44 contests in 2024-25.

Predators' Juuse Saros: Tending twine Thursday
Saros will defend the home cage versus Chicago on Thursday, according to Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean.
Saros has started three of the last six games ahead of Thursday's matchup, after he started 30 of the first 37 games of the season. Saros has a 9-18-6 mark with four shutouts, a 2.78 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 33 appearances this season. The Blackhawks are averaging only 2.55 goals per game, which ranks 30th in the NHL in 2024-25.

Predators' Colton Sissons: Puts up assist in win
Sissons logged an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Sissons helped out on Ryan O'Reilly's buzzer-beating empty-netter in the third period. With two goals and five assists over his last nine outings, Sissons has found a bit of a groove on offense. The defensive-minded forward is up to nine points, 40 shots on net, 54 hits, 44 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating through 42 contests. Sissons can chip in a little bit of everything, but there's no telling if he'll be able to keep up his recent success on offense.

Predators' Gustav Nyquist: Records helper Tuesday
Nyquist posted an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Nyquist has earned a goal and four assists over his last six outings. The winger is showing a little more life on offense and continues to log time on Nashville's second line. For the season, he has 18 points, 53 shots on net and a minus-14 rating over 42 appearances. Nyquist doesn't add much outside of points, so he's not the strongest of depth options in most fantasy formats.

Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Nabs helper against old team
Marchessault logged an assist and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Marchessault was able to get on the scoresheet against his former team in his first-ever game against Vegas. The winger has been hot lately with nine goals and 10 assists over his last 15 contests, and he has just one scoreless outing in that span. For the season, he's up to 14 goals, 18 helpers, 128 shots on net, 57 hits, 31 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 43 appearances, putting him on track to reach the 60-point mark for the third time in four years.

Predators' Roman Josi: Pockets assist Tuesday
Josi notched an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Josi set up a Justin Barron tally in the second period. Through five outings in January, Josi has a goal and four assists, which already makes this month more productive than December when he was limited to two assists over nine contests. The Swiss blueliner has struggled overall compared to recent seasons but still has 29 points, 113 shots on net, 71 blocked shots, 35 hits and a minus-19 rating through 39 appearances in 2024-25.

Predators' Justin Barron: First goal with new team
Barron scored a goal on two shots and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
The goal was his first point over eight games since Nashville acquired him from Montreal. Barron has occasionally seen limited usage, but he's been listed on the top pairing alongside Roman Josi for the last couple of games. Barron has just two goals over 25 appearances in 2024-25, and he's added 24 shots on net, 28 hits, 32 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating. Fantasy managers can find more productive blueliners on the waiver wire in most formats.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Deposits empty-netter
O'Reilly scored an empty-net goal and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
O'Reilly has five goals over his last six games despite failing to record a shot in two of those contests. The center is up to 13 tallies, 26 points, 73 shots on net, 38 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating through 40 appearances. With a little momentum in a second-line role, O'Reilly represents a decent depth center for fantasy, though historically the bulk of his point production has come in the form of assists.

Predators' Filip Forsberg: Two more points in win
Forsberg scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Forsberg extended his point streak to five games (three goals, four assists) with a pair of first-period points. The 30-year-old and Steven Stamkos set up each other's goals in Tuesday's contest. Forsberg is up to 12 tallies, 25 helpers, 143 shots on net, 81 hits and a minus-13 rating through 43 outings. He endured a brutal goal drought for over a month, but Forsberg looks to be back to his usual productive ways now, so fantasy managers need not fear about his production.

Predators' Steven Stamkos: Three-point performance in win
Stamkos scored twice, dished an assist, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Stamkos and Filip Forsberg set each other up for first-period goals. In the second, Stamkos doubled down to put the Predators up 4-0, and that goal stood as the game-winner after Vegas' comeback effort fell short. This was the 34-year-old's first multi-point effort since Dec. 27 versus the Blues. He's up to 14 goals, 14 assists, 91 shots on net, 34 hits, 25 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a minus-12 rating over 43 appearances.

Predators' Justus Annunen: Wins over Golden Knights
Annunen stopped 19 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Annunen was able to get a positive result despite a natural hat trick by Pavel Dorofeyev. The 24-year-old Annunen had a large cushion to work with after the Predators scored the first four goals of the game, and he was just able to hold on for his fourth win in six outings. The Finnish netminder is now 10-6-0 with a 2.88 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 18 games between the Predators and the Avalanche this season. Juuse Saros is likely to return to the crease for Thursday's home game versus the Blackhawks.

Predators' Justus Annunen: Drawing tough start
Annunen will protect the home goal versus the Golden Knights on Tuesday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Annunen has won three of his last five outings, allowing 10 goals on 143 shots (.930 save percentage) in that span. He'll draw a tough assignment as the Golden Knights have won four of their last six games with 17 goals scored over that stretch.
