Olofsson recorded an assist and three blocked shots in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes.
Olofsson has three helpers over his last two contests. He assisted on a Tomas Hertl tally in the second period of Friday's game. He's earned seven points and nine blocks over 10 outings since the holiday break, but it's unclear if the increased defensive work is a blip on the radar or a more permanent change in his playing style.

Dorofeyev notched a power-play assist in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes.
Dorofeyev has earned seven points, including four on the power play, over his last three games. The winger looks to be meshing well with Tomas Hertl and Victor Olofsson in a middle-six capacity. Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Lights lamp on power play
Theodore scored a power-play goal on five shots and blocked two shots in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

Hill has alternated wins and losses over his last six outings, and this was the fourth time in that span he's given up three goals. The 28-year-old isn't playing poorly, as the Golden Knights' offense has had some trouble giving him enough support. For the season, Hill is 18-8-2 with a 2.56 GAA and a .903 save percentage through 28 appearances. The Golden Knights complete their back-to-back with a game in Chicago on Saturday, which will likely be a start for Ilya Samsonov.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Manages assist Tuesday
Theodore provided an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Predators.
Theodore has six helpers and a plus-4 rating over seven contests in January. The 29-year-old defenseman is in a 13-game goal drought, but he's hardly been quiet on offense while continuing to fill a top-four role with power-play duties. He's up to 36 points (14 on the power play), 81 shots on net, 53 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 43 appearances. Theodore has reached the 50-point mark just once in his career, largely due to lengthy injury absences or abbreviated seasons, but he could breeze by that mark if he stays healthy in 2024-25.

Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Natural hat trick goes to waste
Dorofeyev scored three goals, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Predators.
Dorofeyev was a one-man rally in this contest, but even a natural hat trick was too little to overcome what was once a 4-0 deficit. The winger has logged back-to-back three-point games following a stretch of 18 contests in which he was limited to a total of two goals and two assists. The 24-year-old now has career highs in goals (19) and points (27) while adding 130 shots on net, 26 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 44 appearances this season.

Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: Takes second consecutive loss
Samsonov allowed four goals on 22 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Predators. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Samsonov has followed up a six-game winning streak by losing his last two starts. This was his ugliest outing recently -- he had given up no more than two goals in any of his last seven starts after surrendering six tallies in a Nov. 30 loss to Utah. Samsonov dropped to 11-5-1 with a 2.70 GAA and a .904 save percentage over 17 starts this season. The Golden Knights' next two games are in a back-to-back, and based on the recent workload distribution, it's likely to be Adin Hill in goal Friday versus the Hurricanes, while Samsonov lines up to face the Blackhawks on Saturday to conclude Vegas' three-game road trip.
