Ducks' Beckett Sennecke: Logs two helpers in win
Sennecke notched two assists, six shots on goal, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings.
This was Sennecke's first multi-point effort since Dec. 9 versus the Penguins. His consistency has improved in recent weeks, as he's gotten on the scoresheet in eight of the his last 10 contests, earning four goals and five assists in that span. The 19-year-old rookie is up to 15 goals, 22 assists, 98 shots on net, 50 hits, 34 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 47 appearances.

Ducks' Tim Washe: Buries first NHL goal
Washe scored a goal and added three hits in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings.
This was Washe's first NHL goal, and it came in his sixth game. Four of those appearances have been in 2025-26, where he has one shot on net, seven hits, two blocked shots and a minus-1 rating. The 24-year-old has a chance to carve out a bottom-six job while Leo Carlsson (thigh) is out of NHL action through the Olympic break.

Ducks' Ryan Strome: Pots goal Friday
Strome scored a goal in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings.
Strome ended a nine-game point drought with the goal. He was scratched three times in that span, but he likely won't head back to the press box since Troy Terry (upper body) and Leo Carlsson (thigh) are out of action. Strome now has three goals, seven points, 30 shots on net and a minus-7 rating over 26 appearances. He's in the fourth year of a five-year contract at a $5 million cap hit, though the Ducks may look for a suitor in a trade since Carlsson and Cutter Gauthier are likely poised for big raises as restricted free agents this summer.

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Wins back-to-back games
Dostal stopped 26 of 28 shots in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings.
Dostal gave up the first two goals of the game, but he settled in after that. This was his second win in a row as he continues to put distance between him and his eight-game winless skid. The 25-year-old netminder is up to 15-12-2 with a 3.12 GAA and an .890 save percentage over 31 appearances. Dostal still has trust to rebuild with fantasy managers, and the Ducks' depleted lineup shouldn't inspire much short-term confidence. Ville Husso is likely to get the nod for Saturday's rematch versus the Kings in Anaheim.

Ducks' Calle Clang: Earns second shutout of AHL season
Clang posted a 19-save shutout in AHL San Diego's 1-0 win over Abbotsford on Friday.
Clang has two shutouts in his last five games. He's up to 7-2-3 with a 2.19 GAA and a .912 save percentage over 13 appearances this season. He's still fourth on the Ducks' organizational depth chart in goal, but Petr Mrazek's (lower body) absence has opened the door for Clang to see regular time with the Gulls over the last few weeks.

Ducks' Ethan Procyszyn: Hat trick in OHL win
Procyszyn scored three goals on eight shots in OHL North Bay's 5-2 win over Oshawa on Friday.
Procyszyn has picked up the scoring pace lately with nine goals and six assists over his last 10 games. For the season, the Ducks prospect has accumulated 16 goals, 31 points, 61 PIM and 132 shots on net over 39 outings. He continues to be a leader both on and off the ice for the Battalion.

Ducks' Chris Kreider: Won't play Friday
Kreider (illness) won't be in the lineup Friday versus the Kings, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Kreider was trending towards the doubtful side of a game-time decision after missing Friday's morning skate, and he'll end up missing a contest. The 34-year-old winger has logged three points over his last five games. Kreider's likely questionable at best to suit up in Saturday's home rematch against the Kings.

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Out 3-5 weeks after procedure
Carlsson (thigh) underwent a procedure Friday to address a Morel-Lavallee lesion on his left thigh and will miss 3-5 weeks.
The procedure endangers Carlsson's participation for Sweden at the Olympics. If he's able to return on the short end of that timeline, he could still suit up during the tournament, though that decision will likely be up to Carlsson and his doctors. While Carlsson is out, look for Mason McTavish and Mikael Granlund to handle larger roles in the Ducks' offense.

Ducks' Troy Terry: Placed on injured reserve
Terry (upper body) was placed on injured reserve ahead of Friday's game against the Kings, Patrick Present of The Hockey News reports.
Terry was initially expected to be available for Friday's matchup after missing the last three games due to his upper-body injury. While he participated in a second consecutive morning skate ahead of Friday's game, Anaheim's medical staff will elect to shut him down, while Sam Colangelo was recalled ahead of the game against Los Angeles. It's not yet clear when Terry will be able to return to action.

Ducks' Sam Colangelo: Up from AHL
Colangelo was called up by Anaheim on Friday, per Patrick Present of The Hockey News.
Troy Terry (upper body) was put on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Colangelo has seven goals and 16 points in 23 outings with AHL San Diego in 2025-26. He also has a goal in seven appearances with Anaheim this season.

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Between pipes against Kings
Dostal will tend the twine on the road versus Los Angeles on Friday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Dostal has appeared in 13 of the Ducks' last 15 outings, despite posting a subpar 3-7-1 record and 3.71 GAA in that span. Even with the Czech netminder struggling to string together wins, it seems Anaheim will continue to give him a heavy workload while leaving Ville Husso on the bench.

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Still sidelined versus Kings
Carlsson (lower body) will not be an option against Los Angeles on Friday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
The Ducks haven't offered much in the way of an update for Carlsson, with head coach Joel Quenneville telling reporters they will "know more sooner than later." In the meantime, Mason McTavish and Mikael Granlund will continue to fill the top-six center roles. With the team headed into a back-to-back, Carlsson should probably be considered a heavy doubt to face the Kings on Saturday.

Ducks' Chris Kreider: Game-time call Friday
Kreider is set to be a game-time decision Friday versus Los Angeles because of an illness, per Patrick Present of The Hockey News.
Kreider has 15 goals and 25 points in 42 appearances in 2025-26. If Kreider can't play Friday, then Jeffrey Viel might make his Ducks debut. Viel was acquired from Boston on Friday in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick. Anaheim might also dress seven defensemen and 11 forwards if Viel isn't able to play so soon after being traded. If the Ducks go with seven blueliners, then Ian Moore, who is otherwise projected to be a healthy scratch, will remain in the lineup.

Ducks' Troy Terry: Returning to action Friday
Terry (upper body) is available for Friday's game against the Kings, Patrick Present of The Hockey News reports.
Terry has missed the last three games due to an upper-body injury, but he'll be back in action against Los Angeles. He had recorded points in four of his five appearances before his absence, racking up three goals, four assists, two blocked shots and four PIM while averaging 17:11 of ice time across that span.

Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Returning against Kings
Gauthier (illness) will be in action versus Los Angeles on Friday, Patrick Present of The Hockey News reports.
Gauthier will return after a one-game absence due to his illness and figures to slot into a third-line role for the Ducks. While the 21-year-old winger has generated 36 shots over his last nine outings, he has found the back of the net only twice. With Chris Kreider (illness) in doubt Friday, Gauthier could slide into the open spot on the top power play.

Ducks' Jeffrey Viel: Dealt to Anaheim
Viel was traded to the Ducks from the Bruins on Friday in exchange for a fourth-round pick in 2026.
Viel saw limited time with Boston this season, averaging 9:30 of ice time in 10 games. Viel was a healthy scratch on 38 occasions in 2025-26 and failed to garner a point with the Bruins, though he managed 27 hits and 30 PIM. He'll likely have a similar role with Anaheim, seeing fourth-line minutes at times.

Ducks' Nikita Nesterenko: Reassigned to AHL
Nesterenko was sent down to AHL San Diego on Thursday.
Nesterenko cleared waivers Jan. 7, but he spent another week on the NHL roster afterwards. His move to the AHL suggests at least one of Leo Carlsson (lower body), Troy Terry (upper body) or Cutter Gauthier (illness) should be good to go Friday versus the Kings. Nesterenko has nine points, 31 shots on net and 53 hits over 29 outings this season.
