Dahlin scored a goal for Sweden in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Finland at the 4 Nations Face-Off in Montreal.
Dahlin snuck in untouched from the left point and tapped the puck in from the doorstep. He had a game-high six blocks to go with one hit. Dahlin entered the tournament on a five-game, eight-point streak (one goal, seven assists) with the Sabres.

Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: One of each Saturday
Dahlin scored a goal, added an assist, went plus-2 and levied three hits in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Predators.
Dahlin scored to tie the game at 2-2 late in the first period and also helped out on an Alex Tuch tally in the second. With four multi-point efforts and 11 points over his last nine outings, Dahlin is in a bit of a groove. His goal was his first since Nov. 23, snapping a 24-game drought in which he racked up 21 helpers. The 24-year-old blueliner has seven goals, 35 assists, 118 shots on net, 57 hits, 68 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 46 appearances this season.

Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Two apples in home win
Dahlin recorded two assists, one while shorthanded, in Sunday's 4-3 win over New Jersey.
Dahlin has garnered back-to-back multi-point efforts and has five helpers during his three-game point streak. While the smooth-skating blueliner has been productive in the assist department, he hasn't found the back of the net since Nov. 23, though he missed eight games in December. Dahlin has registered at least one shot on goal in every game since his last tally, so the dam could break soon. His current 5.2 shooting percentage is his worst mark since the 2020-21 campaign.

Dahlin recorded two assists, two shots, three hits and three blocked shots in Friday's 4-3 win over the Predators.
Dahlin cracked the scoresheet for the fourth time over his last six appearances, tallying six helpers. Even though the 24-year-old has scored just six goals in 43 appearances, the fact that he has notched 31 assists has kept him a relevant fantasy contributor in all offensive formats. Dahlin has 11 assists over 13 appearances in January.

Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Assist streak at five games
Dahlin picked up an assist Saturday in a 6-2 loss to Seattle. It came on the power play.
He had five shots and two hits. Dahlin, who has 31 points in 35 games this season, extended his assist streak to five games (five assists) for the fifth time in his career. That passes John Van Boxmeer (four) for the second-most such streaks by a defenseman in Sabres history, behind leader Phil Housley (nine). Dahlin has gone 14 games without a goal. He does have six snipes and 99 shots in 35 games, and he will likely crack the double-digit goal mark. But Dahlin won't come close to his career mark of 20 snipes and 235 shots, both set last season. Still, he's cruising at close to a point-per-game, so we'll gladly put him over the boards every chance we can.

Dahlin has accumulated seven helpers during his three-game point streak, which follows up a five-game stretch in which he was held off the scoresheet entirely. The smooth-skating blueliner leads Buffalo's back end in scoring with six goals and 26 points through 29 appearances, and he's tied for third overall on the team in points. That's an impressive feat considering the 24-year-old has missed eight games this season due to back spasms. Dahlin and the Sabres will attempt to win their fourth consecutive game Tuesday in Dallas.

The 24-year-old defenseman is up to 25 points, 83 shots on net, 39 blocked shots, 29 hits, 18 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 28 appearances. Dahlin should benefit from not having any back-to-backs over the next five games, which should help prevent any lingering issues from cropping up.

Dahlin sat out Saturday's 3-1 loss to Boston after returning from a seven-game absence due to a back issue against Toronto on Friday. The Sabres didn't want him playing in both games of the back-to-back situation, and the additional rest appeared beneficial. Dahlin didn't have a point in five straight outings before breaking out in Monday's win, helping Buffalo end a woeful 13-game losing streak. He has six goals and 17 helpers through 27 appearances this season.

Dahlin's absence from Saturday's 3-1 loss to Boston was planned, according to coach Lindy Ruff. The 24-year-old defenseman returned from a back injury Friday.
Dahlin logged 27:33 of ice time in Friday's 6-3 loss to Toronto, but Ruff didn't want him to play on consecutive days so soon after returning from injury. Dahlin missed seven straight games from Dec. 5-17. Buffalo may have chosen not to play Dahlin in consecutive nights so soon after recovering from injury, per Lysowski.
