Top Cam Fowler News

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Gathers helper in Sunday's win

Fowler logged an assist in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Ducks.

Fowler is up to four assists over three contests against the Ducks since they traded him away in December. The 33-year-old defenseman is on a bit of a surge with six helpers over his last five outings. For the season, the Ontario native has seven goals, 28 points, 66 shots on net, 78 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 54 appearances, though with 24 of those points in 37 games with the Blues, he's benefited significantly from the trade.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Two assists in win

Fowler notched two assists in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Wild.

Fowler has five helpers over his last four contests, all of which have come on the road. The 33-year-old defenseman helped out on Brayden Schenn's opening goal and the first tally of Jordan Kyrou's hat trick in this game. Fowler continues to log big minutes in a top-pairing role and will be relied on defensively while Colton Parayko (knee) is out. Fowler has 27 points, 66 shots on net, 78 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating across 53 appearances between the Blues and the Ducks this season.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Returns to practice

Fowler (personal) returned to practice Tuesday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.

Fowler missed Saturday's contest against Los Angeles while awaiting the birth of his child. The veteran blueliner skated on the first pairing with Nick Leddy at Tuesday's practice and will presumably be in the lineup Thursday against the Penguins. Since being acquired from the Ducks on Dec. 14, Fowler has produced seven goals and 21 points over 34 appearances with the Blues.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Two assists in return to Anaheim

Fowler notched a pair of assists and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 4-3 win over the Ducks.

Fowler played in his first game in Anaheim since a Dec. 14 trade that sent him to the Blues, ending his 15-year career with the Ducks. He's flourished since the deal, earning 21 points over 34 outings with St. Louis, including three assists over two contests against his former team. For the season, the 33-year-old defenseman has 25 points, 64 shots on net, 77 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 51 appearances. Fowler is likely to see ample ice time as the Blues figure out how to spread Colton Parayko's (knee) minutes across the defense.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Out of action Saturday

Fowler (personal) won't play Saturday versus the Kings, Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Fowler is awaiting the birth of his child and will be with his family instead of on the ice. Matt Kessel will draw into the lineup to cover Fowler's absence. The Blues are off for four days before visiting the Penguins on Thursday, so this will likely be the only game Fowler has to miss.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Hands out helper

Fowler notched a power-play assist and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings.

Fowler had gone three games without a point before he factored on Robert Thomas' game-tying tally in the second period. This was Fowler's first power-play point since his Jan. 20 goal versus the Golden Knights. The 33-year-old defenseman is up to 23 points (four on the power play), 63 shots on net, 76 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 50 appearances between the Blues and Ducks this season.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Racks up three points in win

Fowler scored a goal on four shots, dished two assists and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Kraken.

Fowler's second-period tally chased Seattle goalie Joey Daccord from the game. This was Fowler's first multi-point effort since Jan. 4 -- he had six points over his previous 17 contests, which is solid production for a blueliner but nothing special in the fantasy arena. For the season, the 33-year-old is up to seven goals, 15 assists, 59 shots on net, 71 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 46 appearances between the Blues and the Ducks. Fowler remains a decent depth option in fantasy since he's seeing top-four minutes and power-play time.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Nabs helper Saturday

Fowler produced an assist in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Jets.

Fowler helped out on a Robert Thomas tally early in the third period. The 33-year-old Fowler has a point in each of his last two games, though that follows a stretch of seven contests where he failed to get on the scoresheet. The defenseman is now at 19 points, 54 shots on net, 69 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 44 appearances between the Blues and the Ducks this season. He's seen heavy minutes and time in all situations with St. Louis, though his lack of physicality makes him a little risky for fantasy.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Scores in shootout win

Fowler scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 6-5 shootout win over the Blackhawks.

Saturday's rematch of the Winter Classic was a much more competitive meeting between the Blues and Blackhawks. Fowler snapped a seven-game point drought with his third-period tally. The 33-year-old defenseman had two goals against Chicago at Wrigley Field, so he's clearly taken a liking to playing against his new divisional rivals following his trade from the Ducks earlier in the season. Fowler is at six goals, 18 points, 54 shots on net, 69 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 43 appearances this season.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Tallies on power play

Fowler scored a power-play goal in Monday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights.

Fowler's tally put the Blues ahead 4-2 late in the second period. The Golden Knights bounced back in the third, but the Blues prevailed in the end. Fowler's not slowing down in January, earning six points over his last nine outings. He's up to 17 points, 45 shots on net, 63 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 35 appearances between St. Louis and Anaheim this season, though 13 of those points have come in 18 games with the Blues.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Logs helper in victory

Fowler posted an assist and went plus-1 in 25:05 of ice time in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Flames.

Fowler threw a shot on net from the point that was eventually buried by Colton Parayko to open the scoring early in the first period. Fowler hasn't been held off the scoresheet in back-to-back games since his first two outings with the Blues. The change of scenery seems to have done wonders for the smooth-skating blueliner, as he's compiled four goals, 11 points and a plus-5 rating through 15 appearances with St. Louis. Fowler didn't find the back of the net over 17 games with Anaheim. The 33-year-old should be rostered in all formats -- he's skating alongside Colton Parayko on the top pairing in addition to quarterbacking the No. 1 power-play unit.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Creates assist against former team

Fowler produced an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Ducks.

Fowler was celebrated prior to the contest for playing in his 1,000th career game Dec. 31 in the Winter Classic versus the Blackhawks. Fittingly, the ceremony came prior to a contest against the team with which he played his first 990 games. He then set up Jordan Kyrou on what was the game-winning goal. Fowler is at 10 points through 13 outings since he was dealt from Anaheim to St. Louis, and he has a total of 14 points, 39 shots on net, 57 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 31 appearances this season. Fowler's spots in the top four and on the power play with the Blues have restored his fantasy value to the level of a reliable No. 3 or 4 option.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Gets 100th career goal

Fowler scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-4 loss to Columbus on Saturday.

It was his 100th goal. Fowler has really stepped into his role in St Louis, and he's rewarded managers with nine points (four goals, five assists) across 11 games in his new uniform. Sure, his 21.1 shooting percentage is completely unsustainable, but that shouldn't stop you from rolling him until this bubble eventually bursts.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: First to play 1,000th game outside

Fowler scored twice in Tuesday's 6-2 win over Chicago in the Winter Classic. One of the goals came on the power play.

It was a real pinch me moment for Fowler, who is the first player in NHL history to skate in his 1,000th game outdoors, and the first NHL defender to score two goals in an outdoor game. To top the day off, his former teammates in Anaheim later all arrived at their game against New Jersey in special t-shirts to commemorate his 1,000th game. Class move for a class guy. Fowler now has three goals and four assists in nine games with the Blues after struggling with just four assists in 17 outings with the Ducks. He's in a great position to excel in St. Louis, and he may still be on the wire in some shallow leagues.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Racks up three points in win

Fowler scored a goal on four shots, dished two assists, blocked six shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Friday's 7-4 win over the Predators.

Fowler earned his first multi-point effort of the season. The 33-year-old has already earned more points with the Blues -- five over seven contests -- than the four assists he logged across 17 games with the Ducks to begin the campaign. He has also worked his way into a power-play role while playing on the top pairing with his new team. Fowler has contributed 27 shots on net, 47 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 24 appearances in 2024-25, but the increased scoring output should put him back on the fantasy radar.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: First helper with new team

Fowler logged an assist in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Lightning.

The assist was Fowler's first point in four games since he was traded from Anaheim to St. Louis. The 33-year-old defenseman has just five helpers, 21 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 21 appearances this season. His ice time has remained steady despite the trade, so look for Fowler to occupy a top-four role with little to no power-play time during his time with the Blues. Assuming he stays healthy, his 1,000th career game will be in the Winter Classic versus the Blackhawks on Dec. 31.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Debuts right away for St. Louis

Fowler made his Blues debut Saturday in a 2-1 overtime loss, failing to record a point but producing one shot on net, one blocked shot and one hit in 17:35 of ice time.

The 33-year-old blueliner was acquired from Anaheim earlier in the day and wasted no time in making his St. Louis debut, skating on the second pairing with Philip Broberg at even strength. Fowler has plenty of power-play experience, but Justin Faulk is still entrenched on the top unit for the Blues, so the switch in teams may not be much of a fantasy upgrade for the former Duck. Through 18 appearances this season, Fowler has only four assists with 30 blocked shots, 18 shots on net, six PIM and a minus-7 rating.

  • Blues' Cam Fowler: Traded Saturday

Fowler was traded from Anaheim to St. Louis in exchange for a fourth-round pick and prospect Jeremie Biakabutuka, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

The deal will end Fowler's 15-year tenure with Anaheim. The 33-year-old defenseman has four assists and a minus-7 rating through 17 games this season. Fowler figures to step into a top-four role with the Blues.
