  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Considered 'day-to-day'

Coach Mike Macdonald said Wednesday that Walker is day-to-day, but his status is to be determined for Sunday's game against the Packers, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Walker underwent testing on his calf injury earlier this week, but Macdonald relayed that the running back doesn't require further evaluation, and his injury isn't a long-term issue, per Brady Henderson of ESPN.com. Macdonald also told Dugar that Walker doesn't need to practice in order to play Week 15, so even if he goes down as a DNP through Friday's practice, he won't necessarily be in danger of sitting out Sunday. Zach Charbonnet filled in for Walker this past weekend en route to 29 touches for 193 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs.

  • Seahawks' Artie Burns: Practice window opens

Burns (toe) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Burns has been sidelined for the Seahawks' last seven games after sustaining a toe injury in a Week 6 loss to the 49ers, but Wednesday's return to practice indicates he's almost past the issue. If activated to Seattle's active roster in time, Burns has a chance to play in Sunday night's matchup against the Packers, likely serving as a depth piece in the Seahawks' secondary.

  • Seahawks' K'Von Wallace: Designated to return

Wallace (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Wallace has missed Seattle's last four games after sustaining an ankle injury in a Week 9 loss to the Rams, but Wednesday's return to practice suggests he's nearly past the issue. The 27-year-old now has 21 days to be activated to the Seahawks' active roster before reverting to IR. If activated in time, he could serve as one of Seattle's top reserve safeties in Sunday night's matchup against the Packers.
