Top Giants News

  • Giants' Evan Neal: Sent to injured reserve

Neal (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Neal had already been ruled out for Week 11 and has yet to appear in a game this season. He'll now be forced to miss at least the next four contests.

  • Giants' Dalen Cambre: Elevated from practice squad

The Giants elevated Cambre from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

It's the first time Cambre has been elevated to the Giants' active roster this season, and he'll be available for Sunday's game against the Packers. The undrafted rookie gives the Giants an additional return option on punts and an extra option at wide receiver in the absence of Darius Slayton (hamstring).

  • Giants' Younghoe Koo: Signed to active roster

The Giants signed Koo from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

Making his first appearance since the Falcons released him after Week 1 this past Sunday in Chicago, Koo made both field-goal attempts and both point-after tries in place of Graham Gano, who was diagnosed with a herniated disc in his neck. New York placed Gano on injured reserve Wednesday, so Koo is lined up to be the team's primary placekicker for the foreseeable future. In addition to Koo, the Giants are still rostering kicker Jude McAtamney on the practice squad.

  • Giants' John Michael Schmitz: Green light to return Week 11

Schmitz (shin) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Green Bay.

Schmitz was limited in practice all week, but he's progressed enough in his recovery from a shin injury to return Sunday from a one-game absence. He should reclaim his starting role at center, which would bump Austin Schlottmann to a reserve role.

  • Giants' Victor Dimukeje: Cleared to play against Green Bay

Dimukeje (shoulder) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Packers.

A shoulder injury prevented Dimukeje from suiting up against Chicago in Week 10. He opened Week 11 prep with back-to-back limited practices, but he has been cleared to play Sunday after logging a full practice Friday. Dimukeje has mostly served on special teams, but he could see some work on defense due to the absences of Chauncey Golston (neck) and Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder).

  • Giants' Evan Neal: Not available Week 11

Neal (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers.

It's unclear when Neal sustained the hamstring injury, given that he hasn't appeared in a regular-season game in 2025. The injury prevented him from practicing during Week 11 prep, and his next opportunity to be available is Week 12 against Detroit on Sunday, Nov. 23. Aaron Stinnie will serve as the Giants' top reserve offensive guard in Neal's absence.

  • Giants' Chauncey Golston: Missing fifth straight game

Golston (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Golston continues to work through a neck injury that prevented him from practicing during Week 11 prep. He'll miss a fifth consecutive game as a result of his injury, and his next opportunity to play is Week 12 against the Lions on Sunday, Nov. 23. With Golston and Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder) both ruled out, Abdul Carter, Victor Dimukeje and Tomon Fox are all candidates for increased snaps at linebacker alongside Brian Burns.

  • Giants' Isaiah Hodgins: May have role in return to Giants

Hodgins may play a large role in the Giants' passing game Sunday against the Packers with Darius Slayton (hamstring) ruled out for the contest, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Hodgins hasn't been active once this season while mostly residing on the Steelers' practice squad, but the Giants signed him to their active roster Thursday in the wake of significant injuries in their receiving corps. Hodgins has plenty of experience working with interim head coach Mike Kafka, as he was the offensive coordinator calling the plays after the wideout joined the team at the midpoint of the 2022 campaign. In 28 games with New York over the previous three seasons, Hodgins hauled in 56 of 77 passes for 593 yards and seven touchdowns. He also plays primarily out wide, making him a decent plug and play for Slayton in addition to his previous experience with Kafka.

  • Giants' Tyler Nubin: Likely out for Week 11

Nubin (neck) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

The second-year pro from Minnesota likely sustained a neck injury in the Giants' Week 10 loss to the Bears. He didn't practice all week and is now expected to miss Sunday's contest. Nubin has appeared in all 10 of the Giants' games this season, recording 58 total tackles and one pass defended. If he's sidelined in Week 11 as expected, Dane Belton will likely have an expanded role in New York's secondary.

  • Giants' Bobby Okereke: Questionable for Sunday

Okereke (shoulder) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

Okereke upgraded from DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday to a limited session Friday, giving himself a chance to suit up for the Week 11 contest. The veteran linebacker is an integral part of the Giants' defense, recording 88 total tackles (eighth-most in the NFL), including 1.0 sacks, and two passes defended across 10 games this season. If he's unable to play Sunday, Neville Hewitt could have an expanded role on New York's defense.

  • Giants' Rakeem Nunez-Roches: Doubtful for Week 11

Nunez-Roches (toe) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

The 32-year-old sustained a toe injury in the Week 10 loss to the Bears and didn't practice all week, so it's no surprise that he'll likely be sidelined Sunday. If Nunez-Roches is out in Week 11 as expected, Darius Alexander will likely to start opposite Roy Robertson-Harris on the Giants' defensive line.

  • Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux: Out for Sunday

Thibodeaux (shoulder) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

Thibodeaux didn't practice all week and is now in line to miss his first game of the season due to a shoulder injury. The Oregon product is an integral part of the Giants' defense, recording 25 total tackles, including 2.5 sacks, and two passes defended across 10 appearances this season. While he's sidelined in Week 11, expect 2025 first-round pick Abdul Carter to start opposite Brian Burns.

  • Giants' Paulson Adebo: Questionable for Sunday

Adebo (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

The 26-year-old has missed the Giants' last three games due to a sprained MCL, but following a week of limited practice sessions, he's got a chance to return Sunday. Adebo has appeared in seven games this season, recording 48 total tackles and four passes defended. If he returns for the Week 11 matchup, he'll likely operate as one of New York's top boundary corners.

  • Giants' Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles: Ready to rock

Flannigan-Fowles (pectoral) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Packers.

The Arizona product upgraded from a limited practice session Thursday to a full-go Friday, indicating that he's moved past his pectoral injury in time to play Sunday. Now fully healthy, Flannigan-Fowles is expected to operate as one of the Giants' top inside linebackers in Week 11.

  • Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Cleared to face Packers

Bellinger (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Bellinger practiced without limitations Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday. He's expected to occupy his usual role, focusing primarily on blocking while Theo Johnson runs more routes for a Giants offense that's switching to Jameis Winston under center.

  • Giants' Jaxson Dart: Officially ruled out

Dart (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Jameis Winston will be the starting quarterback for New York's first game under interim head coach Mike Kafka. With WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) also ruled out, the passing attack is short-handed against a strong Green Bay defense. Dart didn't practice this week, but he did stretch on the field with teammates Friday -- a sign of progress through the concussion protocol, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record.
