Rams' Ty Hamilton: Rams add Round 5 defensive tackle
The Rams selected Hamilton in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 148th overall.
Hamilton (6-foot-3, 299 pounds) looks like a nice value for the Rams this late, because he stood out while starting the last two years for Ohio State and demonstrated plus athleticism at the Ohio State Pro Day. Hamilton logged a 4.95-second pro day 40 while jumping 32 inches in the vertical, so Hamilton should have legitimate pass-rushing potential in the NFL. The downside to Hamilton is that he might not have the anchor and reach to hold gaps in run defense, but as a one-gap attacker Hamilton should fit in fine.

Rams' Jarquez Hunter: Added to Rams backfield
The Rams selected Hunter in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 117th overall.
Hunter began his first two seasons at Auburn as the backup to Tank Bigsby before claiming the lead role in 2023, rushing for 2,110 yards and 15 touchdowns on 346 carries over his final two seasons with the Tigers. Coming from a weightlifting background, Hunter doesn't lack for strength, and he projects as a downhill runner who can be difficult to bring down when he gets rolling. He joins an already young backfield that sports draft picks in each of the last few seasons at the top -- Kyren Williams (2022) as the starter and Blake Corum (2024) as the top backup -- and he'll likely fit in alongside Corum vying for reserve snaps behind Williams.

Rams' Josaiah Stewart: Joins Rams
The Rams selected Stewart in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 90th overall.
A Michigan product by way of Coastal Carolina, Stewart is an interesting test case between production vs tools. In four seasons, Stewart had 47 tackles for loss and 30.0 sacks. He is also small for an edge at 6-foot-1 and 249 pounds with 32-inch arms. The Rams have seemingly found their groove in identifying defensive talent in recent drafts, though.

Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Goes to Rams in second round
The Rams selected Ferguson in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 46th overall.
Ferguson is a tall, lanky tight-end prospect out of Oregon who was a consistent producer over his four seasons in Eugene. He had 16 total touchdowns on 134 receptions and maxed out at 591 yards on 43 grabs in 2024. Drops were a bit of an issue for him over the last two years, however, as he totaled six in that span. The Rams were hurting for tight-end production while Tyler Higbee was sidelined last season, and Ferguson gives them promising insurance behind him. Ferguson is more of a pass catcher than a blocker as his playing style, and with him going in the second round, fantasy managers will be giving him a closer look in the coming months.
