Panthers' Caleb Farley: Past shoulder issue
Farley (shoulder) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
The 2021 first-round pick from Virginia Tech appears to be past the shoulder injury that sidelined him for Carolina's Week 14 loss to the Eagles, as indicated by Friday's full practice session. Farley is now expected to serve as one of the Panthers' top special-teamers in Week 15, when the Cowboys travel to Carolina.

Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Practices in limited fashion
Horn (groin) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
The South Carolina product sustained a groin injury toward the end of Carolina's Week 14 loss to the Eagles, so Wednesday's limited session comes as no surprise. Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports that Horn is considered day-to-day, suggesting he has a chance to suit up when the Panthers host the Cowboys in Week 15. Horn's practice participation Thursday and Friday will likely offer the best insight into whether he can play through the injury Sunday.

Panthers' Jadeveon Clowney: Still nursing knee injury
Clowney (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
The veteran edge rusher was sidelined for the Panthers' Week 14 loss to the Eagles due to a knee injury, and Wednesday's DNP is an indication that he could be at risk of missing additional time. Clowney will likely need to practice in a limited fashion Thursday or Friday to suit up for the Panthers' Week 15 matchup against the Cowboys.

Panthers' D.J. Wonnum: Limited Wednesday
Wonnum (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Wonnum played through his knee injury and served as one of the Panthers' top defensive playmakers in Sunday's loss to the Eagles, recording five total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, over 42 defensive snaps. It's likely that Wednesday's limited practice session is precautionary, but Wonnum's participation Thursday and Friday will be the best indication of whether he can suit up in Week 15, when the Panthers host the Cowboys.

Panthers' Josey Jewell: Logs limited session Wednesday
Jewell (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Jewell was able to play through his hamstring injury in the Panthers' Week 14 loss to the Eagles, tallying a team-leading 10 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks, across 56 defensive snaps. Wednesday's limited session is likely precautionary, however, the 29-year-old linebacker could be in jeopardy of missing a Week 15 contest against the Cowboys if he aggravated the injury in Sunday's loss.

Panthers' Trevin Wallace: Dealing with shoulder issue
Wallace (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Wallace appears to have picked up a shoulder injury in Carolina's Week 14 loss to the Eagles, as he played just 37 defensive snaps (his lowest mark since Week 4) and recorded six total tackles. If the rookie linebacker from Kentucky is unable to upgrade to at least limited practice Thursday or Friday, he'll likely be sidelined for a Week 15 matchup against the Cowboys.

Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Misses Wednesday's practice
Blackshear (chest) didn't practice Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Blackshear's absence from Wednesday's practice comes as no surprise, as the Virginia Tech product sustained a serious-looking chest injury in the Panthers' Week 14 loss to the Eagles. While he's since been released from the hospital and doesn't appear to be sidelined for a long period of time, he'll likely need to upgrade to at least limited participation Thursday or Friday in order to play in Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Panthers' Jalen Coker: Practices in full Wednesday
Coker (quadriceps) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Coker also began Week 14 as a full participant at practice, before being downgraded to limited participation and then no participation in the Panthers' ensuing two practices prior to sitting out a third straight game in this past Sunday's loss to Philadelphia. Head coach Dave Canales expressed more optimism Wednesday that Coker won't take a step back in activity this week, noting that the undrafted rookie displayed an ability to attack routes that he was previously lacking, according to Steve Reed of the Associated Press. Coker will work to remain a full participant Thursday and Friday, and if he does, he'll return to action Sunday versus Dallas.

Panthers' Feleipe Franks: Just one offensive snap in Week 14
Franks went without a target while playing one of the Panthers' 71 snaps on offense in Sunday's 22-16 loss to the Eagles.
The former collegiate quarterback has settled into a full-time role at tight end at the NFL level, but Franks has yet to carve out much of a role for Carolina even with both Ja'Tavion Sanders and Tommy Tremble having missed time in recent weeks. Both players were available for Sunday's game, resulting in Franks seeing his lowest snap count on offense since Week 10.

Panthers' Deven Thompkins: Records short reception in loss
Thompkins played 11 of the Panthers' 71 snaps on offense and hauled in his lone target for a seven-yard reception in Sunday's 22-16 loss to the Eagles.
Thompkins also contributed in the return game for the first time all season, bringing back two kickoffs for 46 yards and one punt for 15 yards. The increased involvement on special teams came after Raheem Blackshear (chest) exited early with an injury that could affect his availability for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, but the Panthers could choose to use the newly signed Velus Jones as their return man over Thompkins if Blackshear isn't available. Meanwhile, Thompkins' role on offense will likely remain muted with fellow receivers Adam Thielen, Xavier Legette, Jalen Coker (quadricep) and David Moore comfortably ahead of him on the depth chart.
