Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Playing in wild-card round
Cooper (illness/knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Eagles, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Cooper, a 2024 second-round pick from Texas A&M, was limited throughout the Packers' week of practice due to a knee injury and an illness. However, it now appears he's healthy enough to play in Sunday's wild-card contest. Cooper has really rounded into form down the stretch for Green Bay, recording 35 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks and an additional seven tackles for loss, and two passes defended, with one interception, since returning from injury in Week 15. Expect the reigning NFC Defensive Rookie of the Month to cause problems for the Eagles' offense Sunday.

Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Limited to open week
Cooper was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to an illness and a knee injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Though the rookie linebacker is nursing two health concerns this week, his ability to practice in some fashion Wednesday bodes well for his chances of playing in Sunday's wild-card game against the Bears. Cooper emerged as a key playmaker on defense for Green Bay during the regular season, finishing with 87 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 14 games.

Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Continues to impress in Week 17
Cooper recorded 11 total tackles (eight solo), including four tackles for loss, in Sunday's 27-25 loss to the Vikings.
Cooper was flying around the field in Week 17, making four tackles for loss and tying Javon Bullard as the Packers' leading tackler. The rookie linebacker from Texas A&M has really come on since returning from injury in the Week 15 win over the Seahawks, having now recorded 28 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks and an additional six tackles for loss, and one interception over Green Bay's last three contests. He's expected to remain one of the Packers' top tacklers and defensive playmakers when the Bears travel to Green Bay in Week 18.

Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Flashes in Week 15
Cooper racked up seven tackles (six solo) a sack, an interception and two pass deflections in Sunday's 30-13 victory over the Seahawks.
Cooper returned from a three-game absence in style, leading his team in tackles while picking up both the third full sack and first interception of his professional career. Cooper was on the field for only 34 of the 59 plays that Green Bay's defense recorded, but don't be surprised to see him more involved moving forward -- particularly if fellow linebacker Quay Walker (ankle) is forced to miss time.

The 2024 second-round pick from Texas A&M has missed each of the Packers' last three games due to hamstring injury sustained in practice. Cooper returned to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday for the first time since sustaining the injury, and after upgrading to full participation Friday, he appears to have recovered from the issue. Expect Cooper to start alongside Quay Walker as part of the Packers' top inside linebacker duo in Week 15.

Cooper (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Cooper hurt his hamstring in practice Nov. 20 and hasn't played since. It's promising that he was able to practice, albeit in a limited fashion, Wednesday, as he had previously logged only DNPs since suffering the injury. Cooper's practice participation the remainder of the week should clarify whether he has a chance of returning to action Sunday against the Seahawks.

Cooper (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night's matchup against the Lions, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Cooper is now in line to miss his third consecutive game Thursday night after sustaining a hamstring injury in Green Bay's practice. His absence is a significant loss to the Packers' linebacker corps, as he's recorded 52 total tackles, including 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble in 10 appearances this season. Isaiah McDuffie is expected to remain one of the Packers' starting inside linebackers in Week 14 while Cooper continues to nurse his injury.

Cooper (hamstring) didn't practice Monday.
Cooper has yet to return to practice in any capacity since sustaining a hamstring injury prior to the Packers' Week 12 win over the 49ers. Monday's DNP is likely an indication that the rookie linebacker will remain out for Green Bay's divisional matchup against the Lions on Thursday night. However, he'll have a chance at suiting up if he can upgrade to at least limited practice Tuesday or Wednesday.

The rookie linebacker from Texas A&M sustained a hamstring injury in practice last week and is now set to miss his second consecutive game in Week 13.
