Jaguars' Dennis Gardeck: Limited Wednesday
Gardeck (chest) was limited in Wednesday's practice estimation, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Gardeck was limited in practice last week but ultimately was cleared to play Week 10 against Houston and wasn't given an injury designation. The 31-year-old edge rusher has logged 34 percent of the defensive snaps this season, recording 28 tackles (19 solo) and one pass breakup. He's also a fixture on special teams.

Jaguars' Dennis Gardeck: Good to play against Houston
Gardeck (chest) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Texans.
Gardeck was limited in practice all week due to a chest injury, but the eighth-year pro has been cleared to play in Sunday's AFC South tilt. He has accumulated 21 tackles (14 solo), one pass defense and one forced fumble through eight regular-season games.

Jaguars' Dennis Gardeck: Nursing chest injury
Gardeck (chest) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Gardeck likely picked up the injury during the Jaguars' Week 9 overtime win over the Raiders, when he logged five tackles (three solo) while playing 35 snaps (19 on defense, 16 on special teams). The injury wasn't severe enough for him to miss Wednesday's practice entirely, and he'll have two more opportunities to practice in full and avoid an injury designation heading into Sunday's AFC South tilt against the Texans.

Jaguars' Dennis Gardeck: Activated from PUP list
The Jaguars activated Gardeck (knee) from the active/PUP list Thursday.
Gardeck tore his ACL in Week 7 last season with the Cardinals but is nearing 100 percent and looks to be on track for the Jaguars' Week 1 opener. Gardeck has produced when given chances in the past, logging 17.0 sacks across seven seasons with Arizona prior to signing with the Jaguars last month.

Jaguars' Dennis Gardeck: Moved to PUP list
The Jaguars placed Gardeck (knee) on the active/PUP list Saturday.
Gardeck tore his ACL in Week 7 of last season and is still rehabbing the injury. The veteran linebacker signed with the Jaguars in early June, but it's not clear when he'll be ready to suit up. That said, he can be activated at any point during the preseason, at which point he'll be eligible to begin practicing.

Jaguars' Dennis Gardeck: Inks deal with Jags
Jacksonville signed Gardeck (knee) on Wednesday, Brock Vierra of si.com reports.
Gardeck missed Arizona's last 10 games of the 2024 season after tearing his ACL in Week 7 versus the Chargers. Now, he's getting a fresh start with a new team. With that said, he might not be a lock to make the Jaguars' final 53-man roster for 2025, especially given that they just added Jack Kiser in the fourth round of the draft.
