49ers' George Kittle: Mild output to finish strong season
Rotowire
Kittle brought in two of three targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 47-24 loss to the Cardinals.
Kittle took a backseat to several teammates in a meaningless game to close out a disappointing year for San Francisco. The superstar tight end has little blame to place on himself after churning out another All-Pro worthy season for fantasy managers. He ranked third among tight ends in receiving yards (1,106) while finishing second in touchdowns (eight). The YAC monster also posted a healthy 14.2 average reception distance in an overall stellar campaign. Kittle will be entering the fifth and final year of his current contract as the 49ers look to bounce back from a 6-11 record in 2025.

49ers' George Kittle: Suiting up in Week 18
Rotowire
Kittle (ankle/hamstring) is listed as active Sunday in Arizona, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports.
Kittle has been a regular on 49ers practice reports this season, with ankle and hamstring injuries capping him to a pair of limited sessions during Week 18 prep. He'll avoid missing his third game of the season Sunday, but he won't be working with No. 1 QB Brock Purdy (elbow). Instead, Joshua Dobbs will be under center, while Kittle will be taking on a Cardinals defense that allowed him to go for 8-64-1 on 12 targets back in Week 5.

Rotowire
Kittle (ankle/hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Kittle returned to a limited practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday. He doesn't have anything to play for in terms of playoff implications or contract incentives, but that doesn't mean he won't give it a go ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

49ers' George Kittle: Logs limited practice Thursday
Rotowire
Kittle (ankle/hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
One day removed from not practicing due to ankle and hamstring issues, Kittle was back on the field, albeit with a cap on his reps. The 49ers may tag the tight end with an injury designation once they post their final Week 18 injury report Friday, but if he's ultimately able to suit up Sunday at Arizona, he'll be working with Joshua Dobbs under center instead of typical No. 1 option Brock Purdy, who is dealing a contusion and nerve inflammation in his right throwing elbow.

49ers' George Kittle: Tending to pair of injuries
Rotowire
Kittle won't practice Wednesday due to ankle and hamstring injuries, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Kittle has missed two games this season due to health concerns, but it's unclear if he's in danger of sitting out again Sunday at Arizona. He's put together three 100-yard efforts in the last four contests en route to a 26-430-0 line on 30 targets during that stretch. Ultimately, the next two days of practice likely will determine whether or not Kittle will have a chance to build on his recent hot streak this weekend.

49ers' George Kittle: Another 100-yard effort
Rotowire
Kittle corralled all eight of his targets for 112 yards in Monday's 40-34 loss to the Lions.
Kittle was able to crack the century mark in receiving yards in consecutive games and for the third time over his last four appearances. Monday's strong showing also propelled the superstar tight end to his fourth 1,000-yard season in eight years as a pro. Kittle will look to put a bow on a stellar fantasy campaign Week 18 against the Cardinals, but he may be without the services of starting quarterback Brock Purdy (elbow) after the latter exited Monday's loss late due to injury.

49ers' George Kittle: Leads team with 106 yards
Rotowire
Kittle corralled eight of nine targets for 106 yards in Sunday's 29-17 loss to the Dolphins.
Kittle led the 49ers in receiving Sunday en route to his third game with 100 or more receiving yards this season. The star tight end brought his season line up to 68-967-8 in 13 starts, putting him just 33 yards shy of his fourth career 1,000-yard campaign. Kittle has a great shot at reaching that achievement in Week 17 when the 49ers host the Lions for Monday Night Football.

49ers' George Kittle: Team-high yardage total in loss
Rotowire
Kittle secured four of seven targets for 61 yards in the 49ers' 12-6 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.
Kittle co-led the 49ers in receptions while comfortably setting the pace in receiving yards. While the talented tight end's performance was nowhere near the caliber of the season-best 151-yard effort he put up against the Bears in Week 14, he's now eclipsed 60 receiving yards in five of the last seven contests heading into a Week 16 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Dec. 22.

49ers' George Kittle: Goes YAC mode on CHI
Rotowire
Kittle had six receptions on as many targets for 151 yards in Sunday's 38-13 win over Chicago.
Kittle played like a man possessed against the Bears after recording just one reception for seven yards the week prior. Weather played a huge role in the road stinker against Buffalo, so Sunday's sunny conditions allowed the star tight end to feast on Chicago's defense. Kittle upped his season line to 56-800-8 in the much-needed win, confirming the tight end's upper-echelon status in fantasy ahead of Thursday's primetime tilt against the Rams.

49ers' George Kittle: Just one catch Sunday
Rotowire
Kittle had one reception (on two targets) for seven yards in Sunday's 35-10 loss to Buffalo.
The 49ers threw for just 94 yards on the road in a snowstorm in Buffalo, resulting in paltry stat lines for Kittle and most of the team's other pass catchers in the blowout loss. The star tight end had been on an absolute tear this season, so fantasy managers should write Sunday's poor showing off as an anomaly. The 49ers return home to California for next Sunday's matchup against the Bears, which should ease any concerns Kittle's shareholders heading into Week 14.

49ers' George Kittle: Returns with authority
Rotowire
Kittle (hamstring) caught all six of his targets for 82 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-10 loss to Green Bay.
Kittle returned from a one-game absence to find his quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) missing in action. The 31-year-old Kittle made the most of his opportunities Sunday, producing his second three-game scoring streak this season. The star tight end is up to 49 receptions for 642 yards and eight touchdowns over nine active games. Kittle would benefit greatly from the return of Purdy should the signal-caller heal up ahead of next Sunday's tilt against the Bills.

Kittle (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Kittle maintained his activity level for a second day in a row and in a fourth straight session going back to last week due to hamstring irritation that sidelined him for this past Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. Kittle missed this past Sunday's loss to the Seahawks due to hamstring irritation, but he's slated to be limited at Wednesday's practice, as head coach Kyle Shanahan told Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News. That would mark Kittle's third capped session in a row dating back to last week, and he'll have two more chances to get back to full participation this week before the 49ers need to make a decision regarding whether or not he'll carry a designation into Sunday's contest.

Rotowire

Kittle has dealt with a few injuries this season, including a hamstring issue that capped him to two limited practices during Week 11 prep and left him questionable for Sunday's game. Having said that, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported early Sunday morning that Kittle wasn't likely to play, with his availability subject to a pregame warmup. With inactive status now confirmed for Kittle, he'll miss his second contest of the campaign. Per Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com, fellow TE Eric Saubert is dealing with an illness but expected to play, which could mean Jake Tonges and Brayden Willis get more snaps at the position than expected.

49ers' George Kittle: Unlikely to play Sunday
Rotowire
Kittle (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Seattle, is unlikely to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The 49ers will see how he feels pregame, but at this stage, the team isn't optimistic that Kittle will be able to play still be a chance he can play. Official word on Kittle's status will arrive 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, when the 49ers release their inactive list. After handling a normal snap count in the 49ers' Week 10 win over the Buccaneers, Kittle sat out Wednesday's practice with the hamstring injury, then was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday. Eric Saubert would likely start at tight end if Kittle is inactive, but he would serve primarily as a blocker and wouldn't be nearly as involved as Kittle in the passing game.

49ers' George Kittle: Not practicing Wednesday
Rotowire
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Kittle (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Kittle has played through hamstring, rib and foot injuries this season, missing only one game (Week 3) as a result, but it's unclear if he may be in danger of another absence in Week 11. Rotowire
Kittle (foot) is active for Sunday's game versus the Cowboys, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports.

Having said that, he'll be available to San Francisco's offense this weekend along with WR Deebo Samuel (illness). The pair should be the team's featured pass catchers for the foreseeable future with WR Brandon Aiyuk (knee) out for the season and WR Jauan Jennings (hip) sidelined for a second straight contest.

Rotowire
Kittle (foot), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Official word on Kittle's status will arrive 90 minutes before Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, when the 49ers will release their inactive list. The 49ers are expecting to have both Kittle and wideout Deebo Samuel (illness) -- who is also listed as questionable -- available Sunday, a major boon for a passing game that will be without Brandon Aiyuk (knee) and Jauan Jennings (hip).
