  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Tallies 58 total yards in loss

Etienne rushed 13 times for 46 yards and secured all three targets for 12 yards in the Jaguars' 23-20 loss to the Texans on Sunday.

Etienne logged six more carries than backfield mate Tank Bigsby but couldn't muster any remarkable production against a typically stingy Texans run defense. The fourth-year back also was a modest contributor through the air while posting his second straight three-catch tally, but the outlook for all of the Jaguars' skill-position players will take at least a slight hit in a Week 14 road matchup against the Titans with Mac Jones likely filling in for Trevor Lawrence (concussion) in that contest.

  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Struggles with efficiency in loss

Etienne rushed 12 times for 27 yards and brought in all three targets for six yards in the Jaguars' 52-6 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

With Tank Bigsby sidelined by an ankle injury, Etienne essentially had all early down work to himself. However, with Mac Jones at quarterback and an unstoppable Lions offense on the other side, Etienne couldn't get much going with his opportunities. The fourth-year back finished with under 50 rushing yards for the fifth consecutive game, and even his highest catch total since Week 5 netted next to nothing in production. Etienne will likely be back in a timeshare with Bigsby in a Week 13 home matchup against the Texans, considering the latter should have a good chance to recover over the Week 12 bye.

  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: In line for elevated role

Etienne is slated to be the Jaguars' lead running back Sunday in Detroit with Tank Bigsby (ankle) ruled out for the contest.

Etienne acted as the primary RB for most of this past Sunday's loss to the Vikings after Tank Bigsby (ankle) made an early exit, turning 11 carries into 44 yards and his only target into a catch for minus-1 yard. Bigsby wasn't able to practice this week prior to Friday's declaration, and D'Ernest Johnson had a cap on his reps due to a hamstring issue. Considering the situation, Etienne could be in line for a large workload Sunday against a Lions defense that has given up seven TDs (tied for 21st) and 4.19 YPC (21st) to opposing running backs in nine games this season.

  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Steps in as lead back

Etienne rushed the ball 11 times for 44 yards in Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Vikings. He also recorded one catch on one target for negative one yard.

Etienne recorded the first carry of the game for the Jaguars, though he appeared destined to continue to split work with Tank Bigsby (ankle). However, Bigsby suffered an injury early in the first quarter and managed to return for only one carry in the second quarter before spending the rest of the game on the sidelines. Even with his highest carry total since Week 4, Etienne failed to make much of an impact, though he did have an apparent touchdown overturned upon review. He could be in line to lead the backfield again in Week 11 against the Lions, pending Bigsby's availability.
