  • Titans' Tony Pollard: RBs to Start

Pollard only scored 8.8 PPR points in Week 13 at Washington, and he's been held to 10.3 PPR points or less in three of his past four games. I still trust him in Week 14 against Jacksonville as a must-start running back in all leagues based on the matchup. The Jaguars are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and in their past four games, Jacksonville has allowed 119 carries for 587 yards and five touchdowns and 16 catches for 156 yards and a touchdown to opposing backfields. Saquon Barkley, Aaron Jones, David Montgomery, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Joe Mixon have all scored at least 12.1 PPR points against the Jaguars, and Pollard should follow suit in Week 14.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Contrarian DFS Play

I think people will see Pollard's poor performance in Week 13 and think it was because Tyjae Spears was back. Spears only played 25% of the offensive snaps. Pollard just ran into a terrible game script. I wouldn't expect that in Week 14 against Mac Jones and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans are home favorites against one of the worst defenses in the league. That should make Pollard chalk, but it won't due to his bad game last week.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Four catches in blowout loss

Pollard rushed the ball eight times for 35 yards in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the Commanders. He added four receptions on six targets for 33 yards. Pollard's most notable contribution to the game was a lost fumble late in the first quarter, which led to a Commanders touchdown three plays later. He was quickly scripted out of the contest from a rushing perspective, but he did account for eight of the team's 11 rushing attempts. If there was a positive to take away for Pollard, it was his involvement as a pass catcher, as he recorded his highest yardage total as a receiver since Week 2.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: RBs to Start

Tyjae Spears (concussion) could return in Week 13 at Washington, but I still like Pollard as a No. 2 running back in all leagues. He was amazing in Week 12 at Houston with 21.9 PPR points, which ended a two-game slump where he scored a combined 15.2 PPR points against the Chargers and Vikings. Washington has allowed five running backs to score at least 11.3 PPR points in the past five games, including D'Andre Swift and Saquon Barkley, each scoring at least 18.9 PPR points over that span. Pollard may lose some work to Spears, but Pollard still has the upside to be a top-15 Fantasy running back in all leagues.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Big effort in upset win

Pollard rushed the ball 24 times for 119 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-27 win over the Texans. He added three receptions on five targets for 10 yards. Pollard's volume jumped in the absence of Tyjae Spears (concussion) to tally at least 20 rushing attempts for the fourth time this season. He was perfectly capable of shouldering that workload, ripping off long gains of 27 and 19 yards while also finding the end zone from 10 yards out early in the second quarter. That was enough for Pollard to reach 100 yards on the ground for the second time this season, and he will be a must-start fantasy option in Week 13 against Washington if Spears remains sidelined.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Could be busy with Spears sidelined

Pollard is expected to get the majority of carries in Sunday's game against the Texans, per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, as Tyjae Spears (concussion) has been ruled out. Pollard has averaged 24 touches in the three games that Spears has missed this season. An increased workload, albeit against a stout Texans front, could help Pollard get back on track after he tied his season low with 29 yards from scrimmage in Tennessee's Week 11 loss to the Vikings.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: RBs to Sit

Pollard is more of a bust alert than a must-sit running back, and he does benefit if Tyjae Spears (concussion) is out for Week 12 against the Texans. But this is a brutal matchup for him since Houston is No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Pollard has been bothered by an injured foot the past two weeks, and he has just 13 total touches in each of his past two games against the Chargers and Minnesota, combining for 15.2 PPR points over that span. Consider Pollard a low-end No. 2 running back in most leagues for Week 12.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: No room to operate Sunday

Pollard (foot) rushed nine times for 15 yards and caught two of four targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 23-13 loss to Minnesota. The Titans' rushing attack was abysmal against the Vikings' front, generating just 33 yards on 19 attempts as a team. Pollard was battling a foot injury during the practice week before gaining clearance for Sunday, but Tennessee's offensive line wouldn't have even been able to create enough push for Derrick Henry had he stayed with the club this past offseason. Pollard should produce better results against Houston next Sunday.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Good to go against Vikings

Pollard (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Pollard steadily increased his practice participation level throughout the week, capping Week 11 preparation with a full practice Friday following a DNP on Wednesday and a limited showing Thursday. He remains the lead back in Tennessee, though Pollard saw a decrease in usage following Tyjae Spears' return from a hamstring injury in Week 10 against the Chargers. Pollard got only nine carries in the 27-17 loss to Los Angeles after averaging 21.3 carries during Spears' three-game absence.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Limited due to foot issue

Pollard was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a foot injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Though Pollard's lack of participation in Wednesday's practice was attributed to rest, he's now appearing on the Titans' injury report with a foot issue attached to his name. Pollard had shown up on Titans reports the past two weeks with the same injury and was ultimately cleared to play in games against the Patriots and Chargers, and assuming he's able to continue practicing in some fashion Friday, he should have a good chance at suiting up this Sunday versus the Vikings. Even so, Pollard may be operating as Option 1A out of the backfield rather than a true three-down workhorse, as he played just 53 percent of snaps and handled 13 touches in the loss to the Chargers in Week 10, when Tyjae Spears (47 percent snap share, 10 touches) made his return from a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Tyjae Spears returned from his three-game absence with a hamstring injury in Week 10 at the Chargers, and Pollard had his fewest touches (13) since Week 3 against Green Bay (nine). Spears will continue to share work with Pollard, who hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6. And this is a tough matchup against the Vikings, who are No. 4 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. Only four running backs have scored more than 10.0 PPR points against Minnesota this season, and Pollard should be considered a low-end No. 2 running back or flex option at best in Week 11.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Only 13 touches in loss

Pollard rushed the ball nine times for 44 yards in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Chargers. He added three receptions on three targets for four yards. Pollard suffered an apparent lower-body injury in the second quarter that caused him to miss a couple series, and the return of Tyjae Spears also cost Pollard some work. The result was Pollard recording his lowest touch and yardage total since Week 3. He should remain a key part of the Tennessee offense, but he's likely to settle into leading a more evenly split backfield moving forward.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Cleared for Week 10

Pollard (foot) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers after returning to a limited practice Friday. Fellow RB Tyjae Spears (hamstring) doesn't carry a Week 10 injury designation, either, and thus is set to return from a three-game absence. Pollard, who is coming off a 28-carry, 128-yard effort in a Week 9 overtime win over the Patriots, is on track to remain the Titans' lead back this weekend. The return of Spears should allow the team to ease Pollard's workload to a degree, but presumably not to an extent that would prevent him from maintaining fantasy utility versus Los Angeles.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Back at practice

Pollard (foot) was spotted at practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Pollard (foot) didn't practice Thursday, but the running back's return to the field a day later suggests that his absence was maintenance-related. Friday's injury report will reveal whether Pollard carries an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers, but at this stage he should be available this weekend.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Doesn't practice Thursday

Pollard (foot) didn't practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Pollard was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, so his downgrade in activity a day later is notable. That said, the running back didn't practice ahead of Week 9 action and was able to log an 86 percent snap share in this past Sunday's win over the Patriots, carrying 28 times for 128 yards and adding three catches for 26 yards in the contest. With no reported setbacks, it's plausible that Pollard's DNP on Thursday could be maintenance-related.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Limited to begin Week 10 prep

Pollard (foot) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Both of the Titans' top two running backs are operating with restrictions to begin Week 10 prep, as Tyjae Spears (hamstring) was also a limited participant after missing the team's last three games. Pollard hasn't missed a game this season, and his availability for Sunday's game against the Chargers doesn't appear to be in any danger after he racked up 54 touches en route to 271 scrimmage yards over Tennessee's past two contests. Still, a full practice from Pollard on Thursday or Friday would help put fantasy managers' minds at ease.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Heavy workload against NE

Pollard rushed the ball 28 times for 128 yards in Sunday's 29-17 overtime win against the Patriots. He added three receptions on three targets for 26 yards. Pollard entered Sunday's game questionable due to a foot injury after failing to practice in any capacity throughout the week. That was hardly apparent in Sunday's win, as he dominated rushing attempts out of the Titans' backfield and was also efficient with the opportunity. He accounted for the team's longest play from scrimmage with a 32-yard rush on Tennessee's first possession, setting up a touchdown on the next play. Overall, four of Pollard's 28 carries went for double-digit gains, and he narrowly missed out on an even bigger performance after having a touchdown nullified by a holding call. He should remain a key playmaker in Tennessee's offense moving forward.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Playing through foot injury

Pollard is active for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Pollard appeared to be trending toward an absence, as he failed to practice in any capacity throughout the week. However, he tested his foot in pregame warmups and is feeling well enough to suit up. Assuming his foot holds up, he should see a heavy dose of touches considering the ongoing absence of Tyjae Spears (hamstring), though both Julius Chestnut and Joshua Kelley are available to spell Pollard if required.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Status up in air for Week 9

Pollard (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Patriots. Pollard didn't practice at all this week due to a foot injury, but the Titans are giving him a chance to play Sunday. The reasoning may be that fellow RB Tyjae Spears (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game, leaving Julius Chestnut as the lone healthy running back on the active roster and Joshua Kelley as a candidate to be elevated from the practice squad. Pollard's status will be clarified no later than 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Sits out second straight practice

Pollard (foot) didn't participate in Thursday's practice, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. Pollard's absence from practice for a second straight day due to the foot injury clouds his status for Sunday's game against the Patriots. The Titans will see what, if anything, Pollard is able to do during Friday's session before determining his availability for the Week 9 contest. Pollard has taken on at least 18 touches in each of Tennessee's last four games, but if the foot issue keeps him out against New England or if he's available to take on only a limited workload, Tyjae Spears (hamstring), Julius Chestnut and practice-squad member Joshua Kelley would be candidates to take on more work out of the backfield.
