  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: TEs to Start

Smith has become the most reliable and explosive pass catcher for the Dolphins over the past three games, and he has top-five upside in Week 14 against the Jets. Smith has scored at least 21.3 PPR points in three games in a row, and he has 30 targets over that span for 25 catches, 301 yards and three touchdowns. The Jets are No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, but three tight ends in the past five games have scored at least 9.4 PPR points. Smith should do better than that, and Tua Tagovailoa should continue to feature him in Week 14.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Massive volume in Thanksgiving loss

Smith brought in 10 of 11 targets for 113 yards in the Dolphins' 30-17 loss to the Packers on Thursday. He also committed a fumble but Miami kept possession. Smith finished with team-high totals in receptions, receiving yards and targets with figures that either set or tied season highs. The veteran tight end's emergence in the Dolphins offense has been a sight to behold, as he's now posted a 25-301-3 line on 30 targets in the last three games. Thanks to Thursday's production, Smith will carry new career highs in receptions (58) and receiving yards (648) into a Week 14 home matchup against the Jets on Sunday, Dec. 8.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: TEs to Start

Smith is on fire heading into Week 13, and hopefully he stays hot against the Packers, who are No. 10 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. In his past two games against the Raiders and Patriots, Smith has 15 catches for 188 yards and three touchdowns on 19 targets, and he scored at least 23.7 PPR points in each outing. He also has at least six targets in six of his past seven games, and I like Smith as a top-five Fantasy tight end in all leagues.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Surge continues in Week 12 win

Smith brought in nine of 11 targets for 87 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for no gain in the Dolphins' 34-15 win over the Patriots on Sunday. Smith finished as the team leader in receptions and targets while checking in second in receiving yards on the afternoon. The veteran tight end is on the verge of locking in a career-best season; with Sunday's production; he now boasts a 48-535-4 line across 11 regular-season games, putting him within striking distance of the career-high 50 catches and 582 receiving yards he recorded over 17 regular-season games with the Falcons in 2023. Smith will look to get closer to or potentially surpass those marks in a Week 13 road interconference showdown against the Packers on Thanksgiving Night.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: TEs to Start

Smith had a solid game against the Patriots in his first meeting against one of his former teams in Week 5 with five catches for 62 yards on eight targets, and that was without Tua Tagovailoa, who was on injured reserve with a concussion. Lately, Smith is on fire, and he's worth starting in all leagues in the rematch with New England in Week 12. Smith has at least six targets in four of his past five games, and he scored at least 7.5 PPR points in four of his past five outings, including three in a row. The Patriots have allowed a tight end to score a touchdown in three of their past four games, so hopefully Smith builds off his performance in Week 11 when he had six catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets against the Raiders.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Week 12 Streamers (TE Preview)

There are four streaming tight ends ranked in my top 10 this week. So don't go spending too much on any one of them. But in terms of priority, Jonnu Smith is at the top. Smith has seen 39 targets in his last six games. He's scored at least 9.6 PPR Fantasy points in four of those six. He is TE5 since Tua Tagovailoa returned in Week 8, averaging 12.8 PPR FPPG. This is not just chasing a great Week 11 performance; Smith was my top streamer going into last week.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Week 12 Waiver Priority List

Smith popped off for a huge game in Week 11 against Las Vegas with six catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets, and he's worth adding in all leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB. Smith has at least six targets in four of his past five games, and he scored at least 7.5 PPR points in four of his past five outings, including three in a row. Smith gets a revenge game in Week 12 against New England and has a favorable matchup in Week 13 against Green Bay, and he should continue to be a go-to target for Tua Tagovailoa moving forward.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Career-high yardage total in win

Smith brought in six of eight targets for 101 yards and two touchdowns in the Dolphins' 34-19 win over the Raiders on Sunday. Smith exceeded his previous career high in receiving yards -- set in Week 9 of last season while with the Falcons -- by one yard while also recording multiple touchdown grabs for the first time since Week 5 of the 2020 season. Smith found the end zone from one and 57 yards out in the first and fourth quarters, respectively, and his receiving yards led the Dolphins on the afternoon. The veteran tight end has now exceeded 60 receiving yards on three occasions in the last six games as he continues to hit his stride in Mike McDaniel's offense, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 12 home matchup against a vulnerable Patriots defense.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Week 11 Streamers (TE Preview)

Smith has 29 targets over his last five games and is facing a Raiders defense that has been amongst the worst in the league defending tight ends.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

Smith continues to be a factor for the Dolphins and has scored at least 7.5 PPR points in three of his past four games. He is worth a look in deeper leagues in Week 11 against the Raiders, who are No. 5 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. And you should keep an eye on Tyreek Hill and his wrist injury. If Hill has to miss any time, then Smith might benefit the most in Miami. He's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Co-leads team in receptions

Smith brought in three of four targets for 45 yards in the Dolphins' 23-15 win over the Rams on Monday night. Smith had one of the Dolphins' two catches of 30-plus yards on the night and tied Jaylen Waddle for the team lead in receptions. The veteran tight end also checked in second in both receiving yards and targets, and Smith now has between 45 and 96 receiving yards in four of his last five games. He's also now logged 16 targets from Tua Tagovailoa over the quarterback's first three games back from his IR stint due to a concussion, keeping Smith in the fantasy conversation at the fickle tight end position heading into a favorable Week 11 home matchup against the Raiders.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Involvement on offense encouraging

Smith secured five of six targets for 46 yards during Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Bills. Smith played a season-high 68 percent of offensive snaps in the loss, while also recording his fourth straight game with at least six targets. His recent uptick in involvement in the passing game has been encouraging, though that's come with wideout Jaylen Waddle becoming less of a factor with an average of just 24.5 receiving yards in his last four appearances. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has historically distributed targets primarily to Tyreek Hill and Waddle, and if that trend eventually resurfaces, it could come at Smith's expense. Still, Smith has earned streaming fantasy consideration heading into a Monday night road game against the Rams in Week 10.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Week 10 Waiver Priority List

Smith is worth a look in deeper leagues since he has at least six targets in four games in a row, and he scored at least 9.6 PPR points in three games over that span. He also has a great matchup in Week 10 against the Rams, who are No. 7 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Smith is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Makes four grabs in Tua's return

Smith secured four of six targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Cardinals. Smith has drawn seven, eight, and six targets in his last three appearances, so despite a low yardage total in the Week 8 loss, his involvement on offense remains encouraging. With Tua Tagovailoa back under center, Miami's offense will look to continue getting back on track in a key Week 9 divisional matchup against the Bills.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Contrarian DFS Play

The projections love Jonnu this week, largely because he's seen 15 targets in the past two weeks. We think with Tua Tagovailoa back that, the targets will go back to Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De'Von Achane. But at his very low price and very low projected roster rate, I want at least a little bit of Smith in DFS tournaments. The Dolphins may have found something they don't want to put back in the bag.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Week 8 Waiver Priority List

I don't expect Smith to be a consistent playmaker for Tua Tagovailoa, who should lean on Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle more than his tight end. But Smith does have 15 targets in his past two games for 12 catches, 158 yards and a touchdown, and he scored at least 11.1 PPR points in each outing. In deeper leagues, you can add Smith for 1 percent of your remaining FAB, and maybe Tagovailoa does make Smith a weapon for the Dolphins and Fantasy managers to close the season.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Paces Miami pass catchers Sunday

Smith caught all seven of his targets for 86 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Colts. The veteran tight end was the only Miami pass catcher to have any kind of success, as Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle combined for a meager 2-19-0 line on four targets. Smith's 10-yard score came in the first quarter with Tyler Huntley (shoulder) under center, but if Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is able to return in Week 8 against the Cardinals, it would likely result in a reduced role for the TE, and a much rosier outlook for the team's two star WRs.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Productive in Week 5 win

Smith brought in five of eight targets for 62 yards in the Dolphins' 15-10 win over the Patriots on Sunday. Smith finished as the runner-up in receptions and receiving yards for the Dolphins while also tying Jaylen Waddle for second in targets. The veteran tight end was held without a catch in his first game with Tyler Huntley as his quarterback in Week 4, but Smith's resurgence Sunday featured a new season high in receiving yardage. Smith will likely get at least one more game with Huntley when Miami visits the Colts on Sunday, Oct. 20 following a Week 6 bye.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Invisible in loss to former team

Smith failed to secure his only target during Miami's 31-12 loss to the Titans on Monday night. Smith played a solid 43 percent of the offensive snaps, but he saw little usage as a pass-catcher with Tyler Huntley throwing for less than 100 yards. The Dolphins' offense will need to get back on track in Week 5 versus the Patriots in order for Smith to have any chance at a productive outing. The veteran tight end can safely be left off fantasy rosters in all but the deepest of formats until he shows some signs of consistency.

  • Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: TEs to Sit

I thought Smith would help Skylar Thompson in Week 3 at Seattle as a short-area target, but he finished with two catches for 18 yards on three targets. We don't know who will start at quarterback for the Dolphins in Week 4 against the Titans, but Smith isn't worth trusting in the majority of leagues. Tennessee is also No. 2 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and for the season the Titans have allowed just six catches for 40 yards on 11 targets to the position.
