  • Rams' Emmanuel Forbes: Unlikely to play versus Buffalo

Coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Forbes is unlikely to play Sunday against the Bills, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Forbes was claimed off waivers from the Commanders on Monday, and it would be unfair to expect him to be up to speed on the defense in such short order. The No. 16 overall pick in the 2023 Draft, this Forbes move by Los Angeles was as much about the future as it is about the present. Washington's new coaching staff threw in the towel on Forbes after he appeared in six games this season. He'd played just eight defensive snaps since Week 7.

  • Rams' Kamren Kinchens: Logs six tackles vs. Saints

Kinchens recorded six total tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Saints. Kinchens has now accumulated 18 total tackles, one interception and one forced fumble over the Rams' last three games, despite playing just 56, 53 and 43 percent of the team's defensive snaps in those contests, respectively. The rookie from Miami's versatility is part of the reason he keeps seeing the field; in Sunday's win, he played five snaps in the box, 22 at free safety and three in the slot. Even if Kinchens' role does not expand on the Rams' defense, he's expected to continue positively impacting games as Los Angeles hosts the Bills in Week 14.

  • Rams' Omar Speights: Career-high 10 tackles

Speights recorded 10 tackles (three solo) and a pass defended during Sunday's 21-14 win against the Saints. It was another impressive week on the stat sheet for the undrafted free agent, who has stepped in for Troy Reeder (hamstring). Reeder has yet to return to the field after a stint on injured reserve, and if he remains sidelined in Week 14, Speights should have plenty of tackle opportunities with Josh Allen and the Bills coming to town.

  • Rams' Christian Rozeboom: Career-high 12 tackles in defeat

Rozeboom recorded 12 tackles (seven solo), including a tackle for loss, during Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Eagles. While a dreadful day overall for the Rams defense, it was a banner day for the veteran linebacker, who notched his third start with double-digit tackles out of his last four, and fifth on the season. The continued volume of tackles should keep Rozeboom on the IDP radar as the Rams travel to New Orleans in Week 13.
