  • Eagles' Darius Slay: Full practice participant Thursday

Slay (concussion) was listed as a full practice participant on Thursday's injury report. Slay remains in the league's concussion protocols, but he took a step in the right direction Thursday by practicing in full. The last step to exit protocols and play Sunday against Carolina would to be cleared by an independent neurologist. Slay has logged 32 tackles (26 solo), eight pass defenses and one forced fumble across 10 regular-season games.

  • Eagles' Reed Blankenship: DNP on Thursday

Blankenship (concussion) didn't participate in Thursday's practice. Blankenship was diagnosed with a concussion during the Eagles' Week 13 win over the Ravens. Given his consecutive DNPs to open the week, it appears unlikely that Blankenship will be able to clear the league's five-step concussion protocols in time for Sunday's game against the Panthers. If Blankenship and Sydney Brown (knee) were unable to play Sunday, Tristin McCollum would be the top candidate to start at free safety alongside strong safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

  • Eagles' Darius Slay: Estimated as limited Wednesday

Slay (concussion) was estimated as a limited participant in Wednesday's walkthrough. Slay was diagnosed with a concussion in Week 12 against the Rams, and he wasn't cleared in time for this past Sunday's game against the Ravens. Slay would need to clear the league's five step concussion protocols in order to play against the Panthers on Sunday, and a full practice session over the next two days would be a step in the right direction for the veteran corner.

  • Eagles' Reed Blankenship: DNP on Wednesday's estimated report

Blankenship (concussion) was listed as a DNP on the Eagles' estimated injury report Wednesday. Blankenship was diagnosed with a concussion in Sunday's 24-19 win over the Ravens. Even if he returns to practice over the next two days, he would need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocols in order to play against the Panthers on Sunday. If Blankenship is unable to be cleared in time for Sunday's game, Tristin McCollum and Sydney Brown (knee) would be the top candidates to start at free safety alongside strong safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

  • Eagles' Jalen Carter: Disruptive in road win

Carter recorded four tackles (three solo) including 1.0 sacks during Sunday's 24-19 win at Baltimore. The extent of Carter's impact in Week 13 doesn't fully register in the box score, as he was hurrying passes and hitting ball carriers in the background all evening. He demonstrated remarkable stamina as well, playing 70 of the Eagles' 71 defensive snaps Sunday. Though not necessarily on the IDP radar, he remains one of the best defensive linemen in football going into Week 14.

  • Eagles' Nolan Smith: Looks good in expanded role

Smith recorded eight tackles (three solo) including 1.0 sacks during Sunday's 24-19 win at Baltimore. When Brandon Graham was sent to injured reserve with a triceps injury he suffered in Week 12, it was expected that Smith would see an increase in playing time. Sure enough, he played a season-high 57 defensive snaps in Week 13, and he came away with a season-high tackle total to show for it. He appears to be penciled in for a near-every down role for Week 14 versus the Panthers.

  • Eagles' Zack Baun: Leading tackler in road win

Baun recorded 13 tackles (eight solo) including 0.5 sacks and a forced fumble during Sunday's 24-19 win at Baltimore. He's fourth in the league in tackles (118) going into a Week 14 matchup versus the Panthers.

  • Eagles' Reed Blankenship: Suffers concussion Sunday

Blankenship (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's contest against the Ravens. Blankenship sustained a concussion against Baltimore, bringing his day to a premature end. The safety compiled four total tackles (three solo) before exiting the game. In his absence, Sydney Brown will see an increase in workload at safety versus the Ravens.

  • Eagles' Ben VanSumeren: Lands on IR due to knee injury

The Eagles placed VanSumeren (knee) on injured reserve Saturday. VanSumeren likely injured his knee during practice this week after popping up on Friday's injury report as a limited practice participant. The injury is severe enough to warrant a stint for him on injured reserve, which means VanSumeren will be forced to miss at least the next four regular-season games, making Week 17 against the Cowboys on Sunday, Dec. 29 the earliest he can return.

  • Eagles' Darius Slay: Ruled out for Sunday

Slay has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 13 clash against Baltimore due to a concussion. Slay suffered the concussion early in the second half Sunday versus the Rams and wasn't able to return. Slay (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday. Slay was concussed in the second half of last Sunday night's win over the Rams. Isaiah Rodgers stepped into the lineup for Slay following his injury and would presumably start in Week 13 against the Ravens if Slay is unable to play.

  • Eagles' Brandon Graham: Placed on injured reserve

The Eagles placed Graham (triceps) on injured reserve Tuesday. Graham suffered a season-ending torn triceps in this past Sunday night's win over the Rams. In a corresponding move Tuesday, the Eagles bolstered their edge depth by claiming Charles Harris off waivers from the Panthers.

  • Eagles' Brandon Graham: Confirmed out for season

Coach Nick Sirianni said Tuesday that Graham (triceps) is out for the remainder of the season, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports. As suspected, Graham will soon be sent to injured reserve for the rest of the year after suffering a torn triceps during Sunday's game against the Rams. His absence means 2023 first-rounder Nolan Smith projects to start on the edge for the rest of 2024.

  • Eagles' Milton Williams: Past foot injury

Williams (foot) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Rams. However, he upgraded to full participation in Friday's practice, appearing to have now moved past the issue. The Louisiana Tech product has recorded 13 total tackles across Philadelphia's first 10 games this season, and he's expected to serve as one of the team's top defensive ends in Week 12.
