76ers' Judah Mintz: Falls flat in blowout loss
Mintz totaled nine points (2-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-11 FT), three assists and one steal across 22 minutes during Thursday's 111-70 Summer League loss to San Antonio.
Mintz took a step back after dropping 21 and 26 points in his previous two Summer League matchups. However, he still managed to lead the starters in scoring by getting to the charity stripe with regularity. Mintz could have a chance to bounce back in Sunday's exhibition against the Hornets.

76ers' Keve Aluma: Impresses off bench
Aluma registered 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt), three rebounds, three steals and one block across 20 minutes during Thursday's 111-76 Summer League loss to the Spurs.
Aluma was one of the lone bright spots in a blowout loss, as he played well on the offensive end and recorded a team high in steals. It was initially reported that he signed on with the Grizzlies for Summer League, but he's since joined the Sixers with the hope of securing an Exhibit 10 or two-way deal.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Diagnosed with thumb sprain
Edgecombe has been diagnosed with a left thumb sprain, and he has been ruled out for Thursday's Las Vegas Summer League game against the Spurs, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.
Edgecombe missed back-to-back Summer League contests in Salt Lake City after suffering what was initially deemed a left thumb contusion. Further testing revealed he's dealing with a sprain. Edgecombe excelled in his lone appearance in Salt Lake City, logging 28 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal, so don't be surprised if the 76ers play it safe with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. His next chance to play will come Saturday against the Hornets. Per Carlin, Edgecombe has continued to participate in on-court workouts during his absence.
