76ers' Paul George: Won't play Wednesday
George has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers due to left knee injury management, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
George and Joel Embiid (rest) will sit the second half of Philadelphia's back-to-back, opening up plenty of minutes for several reserves. George had his best game of the season against the Knicks on Tuesday, posting 29 points (10-19 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block in 32 minutes. George should return to action Friday in Orlando.

76ers' Joel Embiid: Won't play Wednesday
Embiid (knee) won't play Wednesday against the Cavaliers, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
As expected, Embiid will be held out of the second leg of this back-to-back set. Based on previous reporting, it's likely that Embiid plays only one game of back-to-back sets for the foreseeable future. Paul George (knee) is also being held out for rest, so players such as Kelly Oubre, Andre Drummond, Jared McCain, Guerschon Yabusele and Caleb Martin will offer considerably more upside than they normally do.

76ers' Jared McCain: Big night off bench
McCain posted 23 points (7-16 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 111-99 loss to the Knicks.
The 16th overall pick in the 2024 Draft topped 20 points for the second straight games while draining at least three three-pointers for the third straight contest. McCain has quickly earned a significant role on the Sixers' second unit, and through six games in November he's averaging 15.8 points, 2.3 threes, 2.2 boards and 1.7 assists in 20.7 minutes a contest.

76ers' Caleb Martin: Four more steals in Tuesday's loss
Martin finished with 17 points (7-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and four steals over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 111-99 loss to the Knicks.
The 29-year-old forward tied his season highs in scoring and pilfers, and Martin has posted both his four-steal performances in the last two games. He maintained a heavy workload Tuesday even with Joel Embiid and Paul George both in the lineup for the first time this season, but Martin will likely see his minutes decline once Embiid is fully up to speed. Through 10 games and nine starts to begin the campaign, he's averaging a career-high 34.1 minutes a contest while producing 11.0 points, 5.6 boards, 3.0 assists and 1.2 steals - all personal bests.

76ers' Joel Embiid: Looks rusty in season debut
Embiid logged 13 points (2-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-8 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one block in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 111-99 loss to the Knicks.
Seeing his first action of the season after overcoming a knee injury and serving a three-game suspension, Embiid was on a minutes restriction and wasn't in peak form. It's not clear how quickly the Sixers are willing to ramp things up with their franchise player, but the 30-year-old center isn't likely to be in the lineup for the second night of a back-to-back Wednesday against the Cavaliers. His next chance to increase his workload should come Friday in Orlando, as Philly begins a brief three-game southern road trip.

76ers' Paul George: Pops for 29 in Tuesday's loss
George supplied a game-high 29 points (10-19 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 111-99 loss to the Knicks.
Joel Embiid made his season debut for the Sixers on Tuesday, but it was George who led the team in scoring and rebounding. The veteran forward needed a few games to get his legs under him after his own belated start to the season, but while George's offense has been inconsistent, he's found other ways to contribute. Through five contests, the 34-year-old is averaging 17.2 points and 2.2 threes while shooting 42.5 percent from the floor and 30.6 percent from beyond the arc, but he's added 5.8 boards, 5.2 assists and 2.0 steals a game.

76ers' Andre Drummond: Retreats to bench Tuesday
Drummond will slide to the bench in Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
With Joel Embiid making his season debut, Drummond will revert back to his normal role off the bench. The big man has averaged 9.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals across 26.1 minutes per game in nine regular-season outings (all starts).

76ers' Joel Embiid: Operating on minutes restriction
Coach Nick Nurse said Embiid will be limited to 25-to-30 minutes during Tuesday's game versus the Knicks, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
Embiid will make his season debut Tuesday after missing time with a knee injury and suspension. However, the superstar big man will be eased into Philadelphia's rotation and will play less than his average of 33.6 minutes per contest from last season out the gate. Embiid will likely also sit out Wednesday's matchup with Cleveland, as it is the second night of a back-to-back.

76ers' Adem Bona: Back from G League
The 76ers recalled Bona from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Tuesday, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.
The rookie second-round pick out of UCLA will be back with the 76ers for Tuesday's game against the Knicks, but he's not expected to be needed in the rotation with Philadelphia welcoming Joel Embiid (knee/suspension) back for his season debut. Bona has appeared in six of the 76ers' first nine games of the season but has averaged just 2.3 minutes per contest. He made his G League debut for Delaware on Monday and logged 14 points, nine rebounds, four steals, four assists and three blocks in loss to the Maine Celtics.

76ers' Joel Embiid: Not listed on injury report
Embiid (knee/suspension) isn't listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
As expected, Embiid is set to make his season debut Tuesday. He missed the start of the campaign due to a lingering knee injury and was suspended for the past three games due to a locker-room altercation with a reporter. The 2022-23 MVP will almost certainly have a strict minutes limit during his debut, but he should still be a high-usage player when on the court, especially until Tyrese Maxey (hamstring) is cleared to return.

76ers' KJ Martin: Dropped from rotation
Martin (coach's decision) didn't see the court Sunday in the 76ers' 107-105 overtime victory over the Hornets.
For the first time all season, Martin failed to get off the bench while head coach Nick Nurse reopened a spot in the rotation for Eric Gordon, who didn't play in a coach's decision in the 76ers' last game Friday against the Lakers. Martin's removal from the rotation came after the fifth-year forward had averaged 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.8 blocks, 0.6 assists and 0.4 steals in 17.5 minutes over Philadelphia's first eight contests of the season.
