  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Questionable to face Portland

Conley (finger) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Trail Blazers.

Conley is in jeopardy of missing his second contest since Jan. 30 due to a right index finger sprain. If the veteran point guard is sidelined, Rob Dillingham and Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely see an uptick in playing time, especially if Anthony Edwards (hip) is also ruled out.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Iffy for Saturday

Edwards is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Portland due to right hip soreness.

Edwards is in jeopardy of missing just his second game of the season due to the hip issue. If the superstar is sidelined, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jaylen Clark could see an uptick in playing time. Over his last five outings, Edwards has averaged 36.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in 37.6 minutes per contest.

  • Timberwolves' Leonard Miller: Headed to G League

The Timberwolves assigned Miller to the G League's Iowa Wolves on Friday.

Miller has yet to log more than four minutes in any of his six NBA appearances this season. However, the 21-year-old forward should receive increased playing time while in the G League.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Double-doubles Thursday

Gobert contributed 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and one block in 34 minutes during Thursday's 127-114 victory over the Rockets.

Gobert was efficient from the floor and active on the glass, leading to his fourth straight double-double and the sixth time he accomplished this feat over his last eight appearances. During that eight-game stretch, the towering Frenchman is averaging 13.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest.

  • Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Fills stat sheet Thursday

Reid supplied 15 points (6-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals in 36 minutes during Thursday's 127-114 win over the Rockets.

Reid was outstanding on both ends of the floor Thursday, and even though his shooting line wasn't particularly efficient, fantasy managers will gladly overlook that as long as he continues to fill the stat sheet as he did in this win. The big man has been playing a larger role with Julius Randle (thigh) sidelined, and Reid has averaged 18.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.5 blocks per game over four games since being promoted to a starting role.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Surpasses 40-point mark again

Edwards amassed 41 points (11-25 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 14-15 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one block in 38 minutes during Thursday's 127-114 win over Houston.

Edwards surpassed the 40-point plateau for the second game in a row, and the star guard has scored at least 30 in four of his last five appearances. The All-Star guard is averaging a robust 31.4 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the floor and 43 percent from three-point range since the beginning of January.

  • Timberwolves' Terrence Shannon: Plays final minute of blowout

Shannon missed his only field-goal attempt and recorded no other statistics while playing the final 59 seconds of Wednesday's 127-108 win over the Bulls.

Shannon's garbage-time cameo marked his first action since he suffered a Grade 2 right mid-foot sprain in mid-January. He had been cleared to return last Saturday, but he didn't appear in either of the Timberwolves' last two games in coach's decisions.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Has nine assists in win

Conley racked up eight points (2-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and nine assists across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 127-108 win over the Bulls.

Conley dished out another nine assists, salvaging what was otherwise an underwhelming performance. Although he appears firmly entrenched in the starting lineup, it's fair to say that Conley has found the going a little tougher this season. Now aged 37, his best basketball is behind him, making him more of a role player than a vital piece of the puzzle.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Productive stretch continues

Gobert finished Wednesday's 127-108 victory over the Bulls with 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-6 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and three steals in 31 minutes.

Gobert continues to play some of his best basketball of the season, recording his third straight double-double, adding six combined steals and blocks. With Julius Randle sidelined due to an adductor injury, Gobert has been able to flick a switch, having now scored double-digits in six of the past seven games. During that time, he has averaged 13.9 points, 11.7 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 2.1 blocks in 34.8 minutes per game.

  • Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Out at least two more weeks

Minnesota announced Wednesday that Randle (groin) will be re-evaluated in two weeks after being diagnosed with a right adductor strain following an MRI.

Randle had missed the Timberwolves' last two games after suffering what the team labeled as a right groin strain in last Thursday's win over the Jazz, but a more serious injury was confirmed once the big man was sent in for a second opinion. With Randle's absence now set to extend through the All-Star break, Naz Reid should continue to start in the frontcourt alongside Rudy Gobert. Reid has averaged 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 three-pointers, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks in 30.0 minutes through his first two starts.

  • Timberwolves' Jesse Edwards: Good to go Wednesday

Edwards (ankle) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Bulls.

Edwards has yet to make his NBA debut, as the two-way player has seen action exclusively in the G League this season. He hadn't played for the G League's Iowa Wolves since Jan. 23 due to the ankle injury, but he's apparently healthy now and will give the parent club some depth in the frontcourt Wednesday.

  • Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Double-double in Monday's loss

Gobert racked up 19 points (8-9 FG, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 40 minutes during Monday's 116-114 loss to the Kings.

The double-double was Gobert's 21st of the season while the 19 points represented his best scoring effort since he posted a season-high 21 against the Bulls on Nov. 7. Gobert's numbers are down almost across the board this season. While the 32-year-old center has scored in double digits in 11 of the last 14 games, he's still averaging just 12.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.9 steals over that stretch while shooting 72.6 percent from the floor.
