  • Heat's Bam Adebayo: Productive in Friday's loss

Adebayo closed with 18 points (7-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 37 minutes during Friday's 102-86 loss to Brooklyn.

The 27-year-old big has been incredibly consistent on the glass over the last few weeks. Adebayo hasn't pulled down fewer than eight rebounds in 11 straight games, a stretch in which he's averaged 18.0 points, 11.1 boards and 4.2 assists while shooting 52.3 percent from the floor. With Jimmy Butler now a Warrior, Adebayo and his frontcourt mate Kel'el Ware figure to become the focal point of the Heat offense, along with Tyler Herro.

  • Heat's Terry Rozier: Pops for game-high 20

Rozier registered 20 points (6-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes off the bench during Friday's 102-86 loss to the Nets.

The Heat were shorthanded in the wake of the Jimmy Butler deal, and Rozier wound up leading all scorers on the night. The veteran guard has been on a role of late, scoring at least 19 points and draining multiple three-pointers in four of the last five games -- a stretch in which Rozier is averaging 17.2 points, 4.4 boards, 3.0 assists and 3.0 threes in 30.6 minutes a contest while shooting 41.7 percent from beyond the arc. Given his recent production, his role and usage may not change much once Andrew Wiggins and Davion Mitchell are cleared to join the Miami lineup.

  • Heat's Kel'el Ware: Double-double in Friday's loss

Ware produced 10 points (4-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 26 minutes during Friday's 102-86 loss to Brooklyn.

After failing to score a point in Wednesday's win over the Sixers, Ware bounced back with his sixth double-double of the season, albeit in a losing effort. Five of them have come in the last nine games since moving into Miami's starting lineup, a stretch in which Ware has averaged 11.8 points, 10.7 boards, 1.2 assists, 1.2 threes, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals. With Jimmy Butler on his way to Golden State, Ware and his frontcourt mate Bam Adebayo figure to become the focal point of the Heat offense along with Tyler Herro.

  • Heat's Nikola Jovic: Cleared to play Friday

Jovic (calf) is listed as available for Friday's game against the Nets.

Jovic will shake off a probable tag due to a right calf contusion and suit up Friday. The third-year pro has averaged 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals across 34.8 minutes per game off the bench in his last five outings.

  • Heat's Kevin Love: Available Friday

Love (illness) is listed as available for Friday's game against the Nets.

Love is available to play after being downgraded to questionable due to a head cold. The veteran has received insignificant playing time of late, and his presence shouldn't cause many waves in the rotation.

  • Heat's Haywood Highsmith: Available to play Friday

Highsmith (Achilles) is listed as available for Friday's game against Brooklyn.

Highsmith has been included on the injury report for each of the club's last two outings due to left Achilles soreness. However, he hasn't missed a game since Oct. 30. The 28-year-old forward has started in the club's last six outings, averaging 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 21.8 minutes per contest.

  • Heat's Davion Mitchell: Won't make Miami debut Friday

Mitchell (recently traded) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Brooklyn.

The 26-year-old was traded to the Heat on Thursday, and he'll have to wait to make his debut with his new club. Mitchell's next chance to feature will come Monday against Boston.

  • Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Won't debut against Brooklyn

Wiggins (trade pending) is out for Friday game versus the Nets.

Wiggins was traded from the Warriors to the Heat in a package for Jimmy Butler but will be unable to suit up Friday as the deal is still being finalized. When Wiggins can make his Miami debut, he will likely slot into the team's starting lineup. The 29-year-old forward's next chance to suit up is Monday's matchup with Boston.

  • Heat's Kyle Anderson: Won't make Heat debut Friday

Anderson (recently traded) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Brooklyn.

Anderson was acquired by the Heat on Wednesday via trade, though he'll have to wait to make his debut with his new club. The 31-year-old's next chance to feature will come Monday against Boston.

  • Heat's Kevin Love: Downgraded to questionable

Love is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Nets due to a head cold.

Love was initially deemed probable for Friday's contest due to a left knee contusion but has been downgraded to questionable with a head cold injury designation. Regardless, the veteran big man has appeared in only two of Miami's last 10 outings, so his potential absence shouldn't significantly affect the team's rotation.

  • Heat's Haywood Highsmith: Probable to play Friday

Highsmith (Achilles) is probable to play in Friday's game against the Nets, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.

Highsmith has been dealing with this Achilles injury for quite a while now. Still, it has not hindered him from playing (only two total games missed this season, with his last absence on Oct. 30). With the recent blockbuster trade that sent Jimmy Butler to the Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, who will be taking some time to get settled in Miami, Highsmith will likely remain with the starters for the next game or two.

  • Heat's Kevin Love: Probable for Friday

Love (knee) is probable for Friday's game against the Nets, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.

While Love is nursing a knee contusion, the problem is unlikely to hold him out of action against Brooklyn. The veteran big man has been a healthy scratch in six of Miami's last eight games, so his status is unlikely to have major ramifications on the Heat's rotation.
