Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Collects DNP-CD Sunday
Kuminga did not leave the bench during Sunday's 123-91 win over the Bulls.
Kuminga was visibly upset when he was benched down the stretch of Saturday's win over Cleveland, and during Sunday's win in Chicago, he collected his first healthy DNP-CD of the season. With the additions of Seth Curry and De'Anthony Melton, Kuminga has been bumped from the rotation in Golden State.

Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Scores 19 points with six assists
Butler posted 19 points (5-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 7-10 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and two steals over 29 minutes during Sunday's 123-91 win over the Bulls.
With the Warriors up big for most of this game, Butler took on more of a facilitator role in the offense. He finished with a plus/minus rating of plus-29 and helped Golden State earn its second straight victory. The Warriors have now won 15 of their past 17 meetings with the Bulls.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Snatches two steals in win
Melton closed Sunday's 123-91 win over the Bulls with 13 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), one rebound, one assist and two steals over 17 minutes.
Melton looked great in his second game of the season, bringing tough energy on defense and he wasn't shy about getting up his shot. Melton spent time operating as the Warriors' primary playmaker in the second unit, so it looks like he'll have a sizable role with the Warriors. He's on the radar in deep leagues.

Warriors' Stephen Curry: Progressing in recovery
Curry (quadriceps) is making good progress and has started individual workouts, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Curry hasn't played since Nov. 26 due to a left quadriceps contusion but is trending in the right direction ahead of Friday's game against the Timberwolves. The superstar point guard could resume practicing with the team as soon as Wednesday, when the Warriors return home from their three-game road trip. Golden State should offer another update on Curry's status by Thursday night at the latest.

Warriors' Alex Toohey: Out Sunday
Toohey (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bulls.
Toohey has yet to make his regular-season debut and is without a timetable for a return due to a left knee injury. He should be considered doubtful for Friday's game against Minnesota.

Warriors' Seth Curry: Likely to play Sunday
Curry (toe) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Bulls.
Curry is likely to return for the second leg of Golden State's back-to-back set after sitting out Saturday's win over Cleveland due to right toe injury management. The veteran sharpshooter has appeared in two games for the Warriors, averaging 7.0 points while shooting 66.7 percent from the field in 16.0 minutes per contest.

Warriors' De'Anthony Melton: Cleared to play Sunday
Melton (knee) isn't listed on the Warriors' injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Bulls.
After sitting out Saturday's win over Cleveland, Melton will suit up Sunday. During his season debut in Philadelphia on Thursday, Melton posted 14 points, three assists, two steals and a block in 21 minutes off the bench. With Stephen Curry (quadriceps) sidelined, Melton has a clear path to consistent minutes in Golden State's rotation when available.

Horford (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bulls.
Horford will miss both halves of Golden State's back-to-back set and has made only two appearances since Nov. 18. With Draymond Green (foot) also sidelined, Quinten Post, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Gui Santos are all candidates for increased roles in the Warriors' frontcourt.

Warriors' Draymond Green: Won't suit up Sunday
Green (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bulls.
Green will miss his second consecutive contest due to a right mid-foot sprain, and his next chance to play will come Friday against the Timberwolves. With the veteran big man and Al Horford (sciatica) both sidelined, Quinten Post is expected to start at center, while Trayce Jackson-Davis is likely to see an uptick in minutes.

Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Expected to play Sunday
Butler (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against the Bulls.
Butler is expected to return to action during the second half of Golden State's back-to-back set after missing two straight games, including Saturday's win over the Cavaliers. With Draymond Green (foot) and Stephen Curry (quadriceps) sidelined, Butler will be the Warriors' go-to player if given the green light.

Warriors' Gary Payton: Tallies three swipes in win
Payton provided six points (3-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt), three rebounds, three steals and one assist across 27 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 victory over Cleveland.
After logging just three minutes in Thursday's loss to Philadelphia, Payton saw increased playing time with multiple key contributors sidelined. While he struggled on find his rhythm on the offensive end, the 33-year-old recorded a game- and season-high three steals. The veteran swingman has seen 20-plus minutes in three of the team's last four games, averaging 9.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 20.5 minutes per contest during that span.

Warriors' Gui Santos: Paces bench in win
Santos provided 14 points (3-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one block across 26 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 victory over the Cavaliers.
The 23-year-old got to the charity stripe often and provided a spark off the bench, finishing as Golden State's second-leading scorer behind Pat Spencer (19). Although Santos was efficient from downtown and set a new season high in scoring, his 14 points marked his first outing in double figures across 17 regular-season appearances. The third-year forward hasn't been a consistent part of the Warriors' rotation of late, and he isn't guaranteed to see the floor when the team is at full strength.

Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Shooting woes in start
Kuminga amassed four points (1-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 22 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 victory over the Cavaliers.
With Jimmy Butler (knee) and multiple other key contributors sidelined, Kuminga got the starting nod for the first time since Nov. 11. However, the 23-year-old forward failed to get into a rhythm on the offensive end, finishing with single-digit points for a fifth consecutive appearance. On a more positive note, he grabbed at least six boards for a third straight game. In three appearances to kick off December, Kuminga has averaged 7.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 25.0 percent from the field in 19.3 minutes per contest.

With Golden State missing several key players, Spencer got the starting nod for the first time in his career and made the most of his opportunity. The two-way player delivered an efficient performance en route to a team- and career-high 19 points. He also dished out a game-high seven assists. The 29-year-old has scored in double figures in three consecutive contests, averaging 17.3 points, 5.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 24.7 minutes per game during that span.
