Pistons' Ausar Thompson: Another solid outing in win
Thompson contributed 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and two steals across 26 minutes during Monday's 124-119 win over the Knicks.
Since shifting to Detroit's starting lineup Jan. 4 due to Jaden Ivey's potentially season-ending lower leg injury, Thompson has strung together several solid performances for the Pistons. Over his past four games, the versatile 21-year-old has averaged 9.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.3 steals, 2.3 assists and 0.8 threes in 21.9 minutes. The team appears to still be in the process of ramping up Thompson's workload after he missed the start of the season with blood clots, but the forward is becoming a strong source of steals for fantasy managers.

Pistons' Tobias Harris: Collects three swipes in win
Harris posted 11 points (3-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and three steals in 36 minutes during Monday's 124-119 victory over New York.
Harris struggled from the field Monday, though he did record a game-high mark in steals. The 32-year-old forward has now logged six outings with multiple steals in the 2024-25 campaign, tying his season-high mark in the victory as well. However, Harris did struggle to find his groove shooting the rock against the Knicks, and the 14th-year veteran is on pace to shoot a career-low 44.8 percent from the field over 38 regular-season appearances.

Pistons' Malik Beasley: Leads bench in win Monday
Beasley accumulated 22 points (7-13 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 18 minutes during Monday's 124-119 win over New York.
Beasley torched the nets from beyond the arc during his limited run Monday. The sharpshooter also finished as the club's second-leading scorer behind Cade Cunningham (36 points) in the victory. Beasley is on track to average 16.5 points while shooting 40.4 percent from beyond the arc, and he has racked up 17 outings with 20-plus points over 40 regular-season appearances thus far.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Drops 36 points in victory Monday
Cunningham had 36 points (14-27 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four assists, two rebounds and one steal in 32 minutes during Monday's 124-119 win over New York.
Cunningham posted a game-high 36 points in an efficient performance from beyond the arc Monday. The star point guard finished the first half with only seven points across 14 minutes after picking up four personal fouls, though he torched the nets in the third quarter, during which he racked up 18 points while shooting 7-for-10 from the field. Cunningham has logged 30-plus points in four of his last six appearances, and he has reached that same mark in eight of his 36 regular-season outings.

Pistons' Tobias Harris: Efficient performance Saturday
Harris totaled 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 35 minutes during Saturday's 123-114 win over Toronto.
Harris surpassed the 15-point mark for the fifth time over his last seven games with another solid display. The veteran forward is experiencing a sort of bounce-back stretch compared to the numbers he'd been posting in the early stages of the campaign. Harris is averaging 16.1 points per game since the beginning of January.

Pistons' Tim Hardaway: Puts up season-high scoring mark
Hardaway notched 27 points (9-13 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and two steals over 32 minutes during Saturday's 123-114 victory over the Raptors.
Hardaway returned to the hardwood following a one-game absence, and the veteran performed well in his return. He missed just one of his eight three-point attempts and also established a new season-high scoring mark in this win. Hardaway has scored in double digits in five of his six January outings while going 19-for-39 from three-point range in that span.

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Dazzles with triple-double
Cunningham notched 22 points (8-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 10 rebounds, 17 assists, two blocks and one steal across 37 minutes during Saturday's 123-114 win over Toronto.
Cunningham recorded his seventh triple-double of the season and looked dominant on both ends of the court. Cunningham continues to make a strong case to be considered for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. The star floor general has been putting up excellent scoring numbers in addition to his work as a rebounder and passer, and he's surpassed the 20-point plateau in four of his last five games while reaching the 30-point mark thrice in that span.

Pistons' Malik Beasley: Back to bench
Beasley will come off the bench for Saturday's game against the Raptors, Coty M. Davis of The Detroit News reports.
The Pistons will be getting Tim Hardaway back from a one-game absence Saturday. Beasley fared well in his fill-in start versus the Warriors on Thursday, recording 21 points (8-21 FG, 4-14 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes.

Pistons' Tim Hardaway: Good to go Saturday
Hardaway (back) will play Saturday against the Raptors.
After missing Thursday's game against the Warriors, Hardaway will shake off his questionable tag and is likely to see his usual minutes Saturday. The veteran guard has averaged 13.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.4 three-pointers over his last four appearances in January.

Pistons' Bobi Klintman: Headed to G League
The Pistons assigned Klintman to the G League's Motor City Cruise on Friday.
Klintman has logged just four NBA minutes all season. However, the rookie guard is averaging 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 23.0 minutes across his three G League appearances in 2024-25.

Pistons' Tim Hardaway: Questionable for Saturday
Hardaway (back) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Raptors.
Hardaway could be trending toward missing a second straight game as he deals with back spasms. If Hardaway doesn't play Saturday, the Pistons may turn to Ausar Thompson again to replace him in the starting lineup. Marcus Sasser and Ron Holland could get a bump in minutes off the bench for Detroit.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Strong defense in close loss
Duren totaled eight points (3-6 FG, 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals over 31 minutes during Thursday's 107-104 loss to the Warriors.
Duren's two steals tied his season high, and his three blocks were one short of tying his season high. Defense is the weak point of the center's game and a significant reason why his minutes per game (25.1) are down from last year (29.1). His play has been improved overall since the beginning of December, however, averaging 10.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks in 26.4 minutes.

Pistons' Ron Holland: Scores 11 points off bench
Holland totaled 11 points (3-9 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one assist in 20 minutes during Thursday's 107-104 loss to Golden State.
Holland didn't have his best shooting performance, but there's no doubt the rookie made his presence felt off the bench with his first double-digit scoring effort since Dec. 28. Holland has shown he can catch fire from time to time, but his inconsistent scoring numbers and limited role off the bench limit his upside across all formats. Nonetheless, Holland should continue to get opportunities given Jaden Ivey (lower leg) is likely done for the regular season.

Pistons' Malik Beasley: Misses game-tying shot
Beasley ended Thursday's 107-104 loss to Golden State with 21 points (8-21 FG, 4-14 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes.
Beasley had the chance to tie the game in the final seconds with a three-pointer, but his shot bounced off the rim. It was another solid showing for Beasley, who scored at least 20 points in his last two starts and three of his previous four games. The veteran sharpshooter averaged 16.1 points per game while shooting 34 percent from three-point range over his last 10 games.
