Nuggets' Christian Braun: Perfect from field Saturday
Braun chipped in 16 points (7-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Saturday's 127-102 win over the Lakers.
Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter carried the Nuggets on offense. Still, Braun was highly efficient and made all of his seven shots to keep his streak of double-digit scoring performances alive in all 15 games he's played this season. Braun has scored at least 15 points in four of his last five outings while shooting 62.7 percent from the field in that span, and the young guard continues to deliver impressive offensive results in what has been a breakout year for him in his first season in a starting role.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Breakout campaign continues
Braun supplied 17 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT), five rebounds, one block and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 123-120 loss to Dallas.
The third-year wing has scored in double digits in every game so far this season, the only Nugget to do so. Braun is also making an impact on the defensive end, racking up 10 steals over the last four contests, and through 14 appearances he's on pace for a career-best campaign. The Kansas product is averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 threes a game while shooting 55.7 percent from the floor and 44.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Five steals in loss to NOLA
Braun posted 15 points (7-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and five steals across 37 minutes during Friday's 101-94 loss to the Pelicans.
Braun has been one of the most surprising performers for a struggling Denver team, and he's been remarkably consistent on both ends of the court while proving to be ready to handle the starting role left by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the offseason. Braun has scored at least 15 points in all but four games this season and is averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 47.2 percent from deep in 11 contests.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Back-to-back 20-point games
Braun ended with 21 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one block in 35 minutes during Friday's 135-122 victory over the Heat.
Braun scored at least 20 points for a second straight game and has scored in double figures in all nine appearances thus far. He's averaging 16.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks while shooting 55.8 percent from the field and 48.5 percent from deep.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Scores season-high 24 points
Braun notched 24 points (7-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, one block and two steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 124-122 win over Oklahoma City.
There was a lot of talk in the offseason regarding Braun and his potential impact as a starter, but he's been a pleasant surprise for the Nuggets thus far. The third-year guard posted his best scoring mark of the season Wednesday and has surpassed the 15-point plateau in three straight contests. He's averaging 18.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, while shooting 50 percent from three-point range, since the beginning of November.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Ties season-high scoring mark
Braun ended with 17 points (6-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Saturday's 129-103 victory over the Jazz.
Braun has been one of the best players for the Nuggets in the early stages of the season, and an argument could be made to say Braun has been the team's second-best player behind Nikola Jokic. Braun has settled in well as a starter, scoring in double digits in each game and shooting an impressive 52.5 percent from the field.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Another steady effort Friday
Braun supplied 14 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes during Friday's 119-116 loss to the Timberwolves.
The third-year wing appears headed for a breakout campaign as he settles into the starting two-guard role for Denver. Braun has scored in double digits in all five games to begin the season and pulled down seven boards in three of those contests, while Friday's contest was the first in which he didn't record at least two combined steals and blocks.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Continues to impress
Braun chipped in 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 40 minutes during Monday's 127-125 overtime win over Toronto.
It's still very early in the season, but Braun looks poised for a breakout campaign. He's playing heavy minutes for Denver as a key rotation piece, posting averages of 14.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.7 blocks, 1.3 steals and 0.7 three-pointers. He's also been red-hot shooting the ball, hitting 56.3 percent from the field.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Decent output in loss Saturday
Braun notched 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, an assist, a steal and two blocks across 34 minutes in Saturday's 109-104 loss to the Clippers.
Braun has scored in double digits in his first two appearances as a starter this season, but he's been doing more than just scoring -- he's grabbed seven rebounds in both contests as well. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray need to carry Denver out of this 0-2 hole, but Braun is showing he can handle the responsibility of being a starter on a regular basis.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Logs 16 points in starting role
Braun ended with 16 points (8-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 29 minutes during Thursday's 102-87 loss to Oklahoma City.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's departure cleared the way for Braun to join the first unit, a spot that was always in the cards for the 2022 first-round pick. It's a tough job to compete with the likes of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic for production, but the first regular-season game showed that opportunities will flow Braun's way. He'll be an interesting fantasy option to monitor as the season progresses.
