  • Pistons' Ronald Holland: Starting Sunday

Holland is in Detroit's starting lineup against Milwaukee on Sunday.

Holland will make his first start since Nov. 13 and should see extended action in Sunday's regular-season finale. He has averaged 4.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 14.6 minutes per game over his last five outings.

  • Pistons' Ronald Holland: Impresses off bench

Holland ended Thursday's 115-106 victory over New York with 13 points (6-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds and one block over 22 minutes.

Even though Tobias Harris (heel) returned from a three-game absence, Holland saw an increased workload and had the hot hand off the bench. Holland had played 15 or fewer minutes in his previous three outings, but he certainly gave the coaching staff something to think about with his performance Thursday.

  • Pistons' Ronald Holland: Quiet again Monday

Holland registered five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal over 15 minutes during Monday's 127-117 loss to the Kings.

Holland continues to play as a depth piece for the Pistons, struggling to carve out a sizeable role during what has been an underwhelming rookie campaign. He has scored single digits in five of the past six games, basically replicating what he has done all season. Through 78 games, he has averaged 6.5 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per game.

Holland (suspension) is available for Friday's game against Toronto, Natalie Kerwin of FanDuel Sports Network Detroit reports.

Holland will return from a one-game absence after being one of five players suspended following Sunday's loss to the Timberwolves. Entering Sunday's contest, the rookie first-round pick had averaged 12.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 19.4 minutes per game over his last five outings.

  • Pistons' Ronald Holland: Draws one-game ban

The NBA announced Tuesday that Holland has been issued a one-game suspension for his role in an on-court altercation that occurred in the second quarter of Sunday's 123-104 loss to the Timberwolves.

Holland was one of five players (three Pistons, two Timberwolves) ejected after the incident, and all five involved will serve suspensions. Along with Holland, Marcus Sasser will be suspended for Wednesday's game against the Thunder, while Isaiah Stewart will serve a two-game ban. Holland's absence could open up some extra minutes on the wing for Ausar Thompson and Simone Fontecchio.

  • Pistons' Ron Holland: Ejected Sunday

Holland was ejected from Sunday's game against the Timberwolves, Jace Frederick of St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Holland appeared to get into a verbal altercation with Naz Reid before things turned physical between Holland and Donte DiVincenzo, igniting a scrum that resulted in five players being ejected. Holland will conclude the contest with four points (1-4 FG, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and a steal in seven minutes. It remains to be seen whether a suspension will fall upon the 19-year-old rookie for his involvement.

  • Pistons' Ron Holland: Best outing of season

Holland totaled 26 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-11 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 136-130 victory over the Pelicans.

Holland dominated off the Detroit bench in Sunday's high-scoring battle, leading all bench players in scoring and rebounds while handing out a team-high assist total in a well-rounded showcase. Holland tied a season high in scoring while setting a new season high in assists.

  • Pistons' Ron Holland: Provides spark in win

Holland finished with 10 points (3-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block in 20 minutes during Monday's 127-81 win over New Orleans.

Holland contributed double-digit points for the 11th time over 69 regular-season appearances, providing an efficient spark off the bench Monday. The 19-year-old logged at least 20 minutes of playing time for the first time in March during the blowout win, and entering Monday, he had averaged 13.3 minutes per game over eight outings this month.

  • Pistons' Ron Holland: Scores eight points

Holland provided eight points (2-2 FG, 4-6 FT), one rebound and two assists across 18 minutes during Monday's 134-106 win over the Jazz.

Although the Pistons were without Isaiah Stewart (back) and Tobias Harris (personal), Holland did not see a big uptick in minutes even though the game was a blowout. Over his last 10 appearances, Holland has averaged 16.8 minutes per contest with 6.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.8 steals.

Holland ended with seven points (2-3 FG, 3-5 FT), two rebounds and one steal over 13 minutes in Monday's 106-97 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Holland pitched in off the bench Monday with Simone Fontecchio (finger) inactive, contributing nicely from the second unit while finishing second among bench players in scoring despite logging a team-low minutes total. Holland has tallied seven or more points off the bench in four of his last 10 outings.

  • Pistons' Ron Holland: Fails to score in 13 minutes

Holland totaled zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 13 minutes during Wednesday's 128-110 victory over the Bulls.

Holland failed to score for just the third time this season, failing to reach double-digit points for the 10th straight game. Although he is a regular part of the rotation, Holland has been unable to carve out a sizeable role for a Detroit team that finally has direction. The Pistons currently occupy the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and have been one of the more surprising teams to this point.

  • Pistons' Ron Holland: Records career-high four steals

Holland totaled eight points (3-5 FG, 2-2 FT), two assists and four steals in 15 minutes during Sunday's 127-119 victory over the Bulls.

Despite seeing just 15 minutes, Holland recorded a career-high four steals. He remains off the fantasy radar in most formats, however, posting averages of 5.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 15.4 minutes over his last 10 games.

  • Pistons' Ron Holland: Tallies 13 points in loss

Holland finished with 13 points (3-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-8 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 16 minutes during Saturday's 121-113 loss to the Magic.

Holland scored double-digit points for just the second time in the past 13 games, continuing to play a consistent yet underwhelming role off the bench. Despite the loss, the Pistons have positioned themselves very well when compared to previous seasons, meaning playing time is not as easy to come by for someone like Holland. Assuming Detroit can stay competitive, it's hard to see the rookie stepping into a sizeable role any time soon.

  • Pistons' Ron Holland: Scores 11 points off bench

Holland totaled 11 points (3-9 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one assist in 20 minutes during Thursday's 107-104 loss to Golden State.

Holland didn't have his best shooting performance, but there's no doubt the rookie made his presence felt off the bench with his first double-digit scoring effort since Dec. 28. Holland has shown he can catch fire from time to time, but his inconsistent scoring numbers and limited role off the bench limit his upside across all formats. Nonetheless, Holland should continue to get opportunities given Jaden Ivey (lower leg) is likely done for the regular season.

Holland (illness) is available for Thursday's game against the Kings.

Holland was expected to be a game-time call Thursday, but the rookie will suit up and be an option off the bench. Holland has appeared in 30 games for Detroit this season, averaging 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.
