Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Receives playoff minutes
Dillingham closed with seven points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound and two assists over seven minutes during Wednesday's 124-94 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.
Dillingham made just his third playoff appearance for Minnesota, all of which came in blowouts. The rookie guard struggled to receive consistent playing time this year, averaging 4.5 points, 2.0 assists and 1.0 rebounds in 10.5 minutes across 49 regular-season appearances. However, Dillingham will likely continue to grow into a bigger role as Mike Conley ages.

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Makes postseason debut
Dillingham played the final 2:01 of Tuesday's 114-88 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, missing his only field-goal attempt and recording an assist.
The rookie first-round pick had missed the Timberwolves' entire first-round series against the Lakers as well as Games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals series versus the Warriors due to a sprained right ankle, but he was cleared to play ahead of Game 3. With the Timberwolves escaping with narrow wins in each of the final three contests of the series with Golden State, Dillingham didn't crack the rotation, but he was able to make his postseason debut Tuesday at the tail end of a blowout. Dillingham will likely remain outside of head coach Chris Finch's rotation for the duration of Minnesota's playoff run.

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Available to play Saturday
Dillingham (ankle) is available for Saturday's Game 3 against the Warriors.
Dillingham will suit up and will be an option in the backcourt for the Timberwolves. However, the rookie isn't expected to play significant minutes even if available, so his fantasy upside will be minimal.

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Questionable for Saturday
Dillingham (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Warriors.
Dillingham has missed the Wolves' last eight games due to a sprained right ankle. There's a chance he'll return to the floor Saturday, which would give Minnesota some added depth in the backcourt. In 49 games played during the regular season, the rookie guard averaged 4.5 points, 1.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 44.1 percent from the field.

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Not playing in Game 1
Dillingham (ankle) has been ruled out for Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Warriors on Tuesday.
Dillingham missed the Timberwolves' first-round victory over the Lakers due to a right ankle sprain. He'll continue to be sidelined for the start of the second round, but he saw his playing time diminish after the beginning of March, and his absence shouldn't impact the Timberwolves' backcourt rotation.

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Out for series opener

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Fails to score again Thursday
Dillingham logged no counting stats across two minutes during Thursday's 105-90 victory over the Nets.
Dillingham continues to be used sparingly by the Timberwolves, having now played single-digit minutes in 16 straight games. As a rookie on a contending team, Dillingham's path to playing time was always going to be a rocky one. In 47 games played, he is averaging 4.7 points and 2.1 assists in 10.9 minutes per game.

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Scores 12 in overtime win
Dillingham totaled 12 points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one steal in 26 minutes in Monday's 131-128 overtime win over the Thunder.
Dillingham hasn't been an offensive focal point for the Timberwolves in his rookie season but was notably productive in Monday's win. The 20-year-old has eclipsed double-digit points eight times and has surpassed 20 minutes a total of seven times this season. The 2024 first-round pick figures to continue in a reserve role for the rest of this season but should remain in high regard moving forward, given his upside and draft pedigree.

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Reaches double figures off bench
Dillingham contributed 13 points (5-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes in Monday's 128-107 loss to Cleveland.
Dillingham provided a nice lift off the Timberwolves bench with Minnesota somewhat shorthanded in the absence of Mike Conley (finger), leading all second-unit players in scoring, assists and minutes played in a losing effort. Dillingham has crossed the double-digit scoring mark in seven outings, though Monday marked the first time he's done so in February.

Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Returning to bench Monday
Dillingham is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
Dillingham got the start Saturday against the Trail Blazers and finished with eight points and six assists across 24 minutes while shooting 4-for-12 from the field. The rookie has played double-digit minutes in each of his last nine outings regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench, however, so he should continue to see a decent workload in a depleted Timberwolves backcourt that's missing Mike Conley (finger) and Donte DiVincenzo (toe).
