Raptors' Gradey Dick: Out at least two weeks
The Raptors announced Tuesday that Dick has been diagnosed with a hyperextended right knee resulting in bone bruises, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports. Dick will return to Toronto to begin rehabbing and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
In Sunday's 104-102 win over the Magic, Dick played just 16 minutes game after being forced out of the game late in the second quarter, when he was involved in a collision with Orlando's Cole Anthony that also resulted in teammate RJ Barrett falling on Dick's leg. Though follow-up testing cleared Dick of any structural damage to his knee, he'll still miss at least two weeks, and the Raptors won't be incentivized to rush him back to the court after that while the team remains out of the mix for a playoff spot. In Dick's absence, Ja'Kobe Walter will likely move into the starting five, but Jamal Shead and A.J. Lawson are also candidates to take on increased roles in the backcourt.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Listed out for Tuesday
Dick (knee) will not play Tuesday against the Magic, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Dick suffered a hyperextension and a sit-bone contusion in his right knee during the second quarter of Sunday's game, and it's not a surprise that he won't be suiting up for the rematch against Orlando. An official timetable isn't known yet, but Dick's next chance to play comes Friday against Utah. Guys like Ja'Kobe Walter and Jamal Shead could see an uptick in minutes in the meantime.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Suffers hyperextended knee Sunday
Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said after Sunday's 104-102 win over the Magic that Dick suffered a hyperextension and a sit-bone contusion in his right knee during the second quarter of the game, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Dick totaled two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound in 16 minutes before checking out of the game for good with 42 seconds remaining in the second quarter, shortly after he sustained multiple injuries in a collision with the Magic's Cole Anthony that simultaneously resulted in teammate RJ Barrett falling on Dick's leg. According to Rajakovic, Dick passed all concussion testing administered after the game, but he suffered a split lip in addition to the knee injury. A timeline for Dick's return has yet to be provided, but the second-year guard seems more likely than not to sit out Tuesday's rematch with the Magic.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Won't return Sunday vs. Orlando
Dick has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Magic due to apparent head and knee injuries, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Dick suffered multiple injuries late in the second quarter, when he collided with RJ Barrett while the latter was driving to the basket. Dick was able to walk off under his own power to the locker room, but he will not see the floor for the rest of Sunday's game as he continues to be evaluated by medical staff. Ja'Kobe Walter entered the Raptors' starting lineup for the start of the second half in place of Dick.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Heads to locker room Sunday
Dick (head/knee) went to the locker room late in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Magic, Ian Finlayson of Sportsnet reports.
Dick's right knee appeared to hyperextend during a collision with teammate RJ Barrett, and the former also looked to have suffered a head injury while falling to the ground. Dick spent several minutes on the floor while being checked on by trainers, but he was eventually able to walk off the floor under his own power and into the locker room. Ja'Kobe Walter and Jamal Shead would stand to see increased minutes off the bench if Dick is not cleared to return for the second half.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Flirts with double-double in loss
Dick scored 13 points (4-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), grabbed nine rebounds and dished one assist in 35 minutes of action during Friday's 125-115 overtime loss to the Bulls.
The sophomore wing has struggled from the field of late, shooting just 37.0 percent since the All-Star break, but has made up for it from deep, hitting threes at a 41.4 percent clip in the same span. He's also been more active on the glass than ever before in his career, logging his first double-digit rebounding performance earlier in the week before grabbing nine boards Friday as he fell just one rebound short of his first career double-double. He'll look to improve his efficiency during Sunday's outing against the Magic.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Available to play Tuesday
Dick (thigh) is listed as available for Tuesday's game against Boston.
Dick will shake off a probable tag due to a right thigh contusion and suit up Tuesday. The second-year swingman has struggled of late, and over his last five outings, he has averaged 7.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.0 assists while shooting 32.4 percent from the field in 26.4 minutes per contest.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Probable for Tuesday
Dick is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Celtics due to a thigh injury, Coty Wiles of RaptorsRepublic.com reports.
The injury is a new concern for Dick, and while he appears to be on track to play Tuesday, he may be more at risk of sitting out the second leg of a back-to-back set Wednesday versus the Pacers. Dick holds averages of 11.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.2 steals in 28.5 minutes over his last 10 games.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Struggles with shot Friday
Dick accumulated nine points (2-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and three steals in 34 minutes during Friday's 120-111 overtime loss to Miami.
Dick didn't have his best shooting performance Friday but still salvaged his fantasy line by notching a season-high mark in rebounds. Dick's fantasy value isn't very high if he's not hitting shots, and on that note, he's averaging 11.3 points per game while making 35.3 percent of his threes since the beginning of February.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Logs 12 points in Rising Stars game
Dick closed with 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and one assist in 12 minutes during Team Tim's 40-34 loss to Team Chris in Friday's Rising Stars semifinals.
Dick led the way in scoring with 12 points for Team Tim, but it wasn't enough for a victory. None of the other members of the squad put up more than five points Friday. Although Dick has cooled down significantly following a hot start to the season with the Raptors, he's started in each of his 48 appearances. Overall, the second-year sharpshooter is averaging 15.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in 29.5 minutes.

The second-year pro connected on a trio of three-pointers, including one late in the fourth quarter to give the Raptors a three-point lead. Dick has averaged 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals over 28.3 minutes per game in February.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Good to go Tuesday
Dick (neck) is listed as available for Tuesday's game against Philadelphia.
Dick exited Sunday's loss to the Rockets after playing only 14 minutes due to the neck contusion, though he's good to go Tuesday. Over his last five outings entering Sunday's matchup, the second-year swingman had averaged 15.0 points and 4.4 rebounds across 30.6 minutes per contest.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Probable for Tuesday
Dick (neck) is probable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Dick played 14 minutes against the Rockets on Sunday before leaving the game for good with this injury. It appears to be minor, however, and that's good news for a Toronto team that could be very shorthanded again -- RJ Barrett (concussion) and Brandon Ingram (ankle) remain out for the Raptors.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Won't return Sunday
Dick has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Rockets due to a neck contusion, Kayla Grey of TSN reports.
Dick finishes the game with zero points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in 14 minutes. Ja'Kobe Walter started the second half in place of Dick, whose next chance to suit up will come Tuesday in Philadelphia. Grey relays that Dick has passed the team's initial concussion tests.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Another solid scoring effort
Dick had 17 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block in 28 minutes during Friday's 121-109 loss to Oklahoma City.
RJ Barrett (concussion) missed a third straight game Friday, and Brandon Ingram (ankle) hasn't been cleared yet to make his Toronto debut, so Dick was needed to handle more of the scoring load once again. The second-year wing has delivered double-digit points in 13 of his last 14 appearances, a stretch in which he's averaging 13.1 points, 3.1 boards, 1.7 threes and 1.5 assists, but he'll likely be bumped to the bench and see a lower usage rate once Barrett and Ingram are in the lineup.

Raptors' Gradey Dick: Tallies 14 points Tuesday
Dick recorded 14 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 121-115 loss to the Knicks.
Dick was serviceable yet again, scoring double-digit points for the fourth straight game. During that time, he has averaged 13.7 points and 1.7 three-pointers, adding very little in peripheral production. He has certainly filled a role for the Raptors this season, but his overall appeal remains somewhat limited.

After missing Wednesday's win against the Wizards due to an illness, Dick will return to the floor Friday to face the Bulls. The 2023 first-round pick has taken his game to another level this season for the Raptors, averaging a career-high 15.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists, shooting 41.5 percent from the floor and 34.6 percent from beyond the arc.
