Bulls' Lonzo Ball: Iffy for Saturday
Ball (illness) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Warriors.
Ball missed Wednesday's loss to the Timberwolves and could miss a second straight game while battling an illness. The veteran guard recently secured his future beyond this season with the Bulls, inking a two-year contract extension with the team. The 27-year-old is averaging career-low numbers across the board but has shown flashes during the 2024-25 campaign, convincing the team he was worth committing to for the next two seasons.

Bulls' Lonzo Ball: Doesn't practice Friday
Ball (knee) didn't participate in Friday's practice due to an illness, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Ball missed Chicago's previous contest, the second night of a back-to-back set, due to left knee management. However, it now appears that an illness could cause Ball to sit out Saturday's game against the Warriors, which could pave the way for Kevin Huerter (recently traded), Talen Horton-Tucker (lower leg) and Jevon Carter to receive increased playing time.

Bulls' Lonzo Ball: Ruled out Wednesday
Ball (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.
After missing a good portion of the first half of the 2024-25 season for the Bulls, Ball hasn't missed much time recently. However, the veteran point guard will miss Wednesday's game in Minnesota due to injury management of his left knee. This is precautionary because of his injury history and the matchup against the Timberwolves being the second game of a back-to-back for the Bulls. Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu could see more time on the floor due to Ball's absence.

Coach Billy Donovan said Friday that Ball is now up to a 28-minute playing time restriction, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Ball's season high in minutes is 26, but the 27-year-old guard continues to ramp up toward a full workload after missing two seasons due to knee injuries. With Zach LaVine (personal) out against Toronto on Friday, Ball should remain in Chicago's starting lineup.
