The star big man has recorded six straight double-doubles in the playoffs and is averaging 19.8 points and 14.0 rebounds per game in the series against Boston.

Towns finished with 21 points (5-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 10-11 FT) and 15 rebounds across 36 minutes during Saturday's 115-93 loss to the Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Towns had a rough shooting performance, as evidenced by the fact that he needed 18 shots to score 21 points, but at least he extended his streak of double-doubles to five games. Towns is averaging 18.7 points and 15.0 boards per game in the series, and while Saturday wasn't his finest outing, he should remain one of the Knicks' go-to offensive weapons throughout the rest of this matchup against Boston.

Towns accumulated 21 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 17 rebounds, one assist and one block over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 91-90 win over Boston in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Towns delivered an improved performance, largely avoiding foul trouble, allowing him to end as the dominant big man. With Kristaps Porzingis limited due to an ongoing illness, Towns was primarily matched up against Al Horford. Although Horford is a proven commodity, he is at the backend of his career, a fact not lost on Towns. The Knicks will now head back to New York with a 2-0 series lead, only two wins away from advancing to the Conference Finals.

Towns picked up three early fouls, limiting him to just 31 minutes. Although he still managed to record a double-double, it was by no means a dominant performance.
