Clippers' Norman Powell: Comes through in clutch
Powell contributed 13 points (5-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three assists and three steals in 33 minutes during Monday's 105-102 victory over Denver in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Powell didn't have his typical offensive production Monday but made up for it by hitting the go-ahead three in the fourth quarter to help propel the Clippers to a win on the road and even the series at one game apiece. The veteran guard is having arguably the best year of his career, coming off an impressive regular-season showing, averaging a career-high 21.8 points per game to go along with 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 steals.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Struggles in loss
Powell recorded 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes during Saturday's 112-110 overtime loss to Denver in Game 1 of their Western Conference quarterfinal-round series.
Powell struggled to make an impact in the Game 1 loss, as he couldn't get going offensively. The veteran small forward is coming off what may have been the best regular season of his career, averaging a career-high 21.8 points per game. Unfortunately, he won't be helping the Clippers much in the postseason if he continues to underwhelm on the offensive end of the floor, as 12 points won't cut it in a series against a high-powered Denver attack.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Iffy to face Sacramento
Powell (shoulder) is questionable for Friday's game against the Kings, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Powell is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest due to a right shoulder injury. If the veteran swingman remains sidelined against Sacramento, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Kris Dunn are candidates for an uptick in playing time.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Ruled out Wednesday
Powell (shoulder) is out for Wednesday's game against the Rockets, independent NBA writer Justin Russo reports.
Powell was initially listed as questionable due to right shoulder soreness, and the Clippers will be cautious with one of their top offensive weapons. Derrick Jones will take his place in the starting lineup, according to Law Murray of The Athletic, and Bogdan Bogdanovic is also expected to experience an uptick in his playing time with Powell out. It's uncertain if the 10-year veteran will return to face the Kings on Friday, but head coach Tyronn Lue said Powell "will be alright after tonight [Wednesday]," according to Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Questionable for Wednesday
Powell is questionable for Wednesday's game versus Houston due to right shoulder soreness, independent NBA writer Justin Russo reports.
After logging 41 minutes against the Spurs on Tuesday with 25 points (9-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds and three assists. Powell could be held out for some maintenance on the second leg of this back-to-back set. Kawhi Leonard, however, will be returning from his maintenance day to face the Rockets.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Logs team-high 25 points
Powell registered 25 points (9-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 41 minutes during Tuesday's 122-117 win over the Spurs.
Powell's numbers have almost always come through when Kawhi Leonard (rest) takes a seat, and that was the case during Wednesday's critical win. Powell's totals have been impacted marginally with Leonard's increased activity. However, he still has a solid place in the Clippers' starting lineup and can amass great totals when the game flows in his direction.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Leads from deep as top scorer
Powell ended with 34 points (13-24 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 3-6 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal in 39 minutes during Sunday's 127-122 loss to Cleveland.
Powell lit it up from deep in Sunday's contest, pacing all Clippers in scoring and threes made while also finishing second among Los Angeles players in assists in an offensive showcase. Powell has connected on five or more threes in 13 contests while also surpassing the 30-point mark on 10 occasions.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Muted performance in loss
Powell logged nine points (4-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes during Sunday's 103-101 loss to the Thunder.
Powell, who has been battling a hamstring issue lately, continues to struggle on the offensive end. He's played just five times in March, posting averages of 9.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 three-pointers on 34.1 percent shooting in 21.4 minutes per game. James Harden left this game with a couple of injuries, meaning Powell may need to soak up more usage in the short term. He's due for some positive regression with his jumper.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Remaining limited Friday
Coach Brian Shaw said that Powell will remain under an unspecified minutes restriction during Friday's game against Memphis, independent NBA writer Justin Russo reports.
Powell has played in each of the club's last two outings following a seven-game absence due to a hamstring strain, totaling 18 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal across 41 minutes. The Clippers will likely ease the veteran swingman back into full form ahead of the playoffs, and it would be surprising to see him play more than 30 minutes Friday.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Looks rusty in return
Powell (hamstring) posted seven points (3-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt), one rebound and one steal across 23 minutes during Sunday's 123-88 win over Charlotte.
Making his return from a seven-game absence due to a hamstring strain, Powell had his minutes held in check, though it's unclear if it had more to do with the blowout or as a result of him coming back from an injury. In any case, Powell looked rusty during his time on the court, delivering one of his more inefficient shooting lines of the season. The veteran swingman has appeared in just two games since the All-Star break, so it could take some time for him to find a rhythm and build back up to a full workload. Fantasy managers should exercise patience with Powell, who has 35 games with at least 20 points so far this season.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Making return Sunday
Powell (hamstring) is available and starting in Sunday's game against Charlotte, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
Powell will return from a seven-game absence due to a right hamstring strain. It wouldn't be surprising to see the veteran swingman operate under a minutes restriction. Over his last 10 appearances, Powell has averaged 24.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals across 33.8 minutes per contest.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Questionable to play Sunday
Powell (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Hornets, Lauren Rosen of FanDuel Sports Network SoCal reports.
Powell was initially ruled out for 10 days at the beginning of the month, and he might be slightly ahead of schedule, as there's a chance the veteran forward might be able to return Sunday. Powell would provide a huge boost on offense for the Clippers, as he's been limited to just one game since the All-Star break.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Out at least 10 days
The Clippers announced Tuesday that Powell has a right hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in 10 days, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
Powell aggravated his hamstring injury against Phoenix on Tuesday after the issue had caused him to miss Los Angeles' previous five outings. Until Powell is able to return to action, Amir Coffey and Bogdan Bogdanovic will likely receive increased playing time.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Dealing with hamstring strain
Powell (hamstring) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Phoenix, Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Powell made his comeback from a five-game absence streak due to a left knee injury during Sunday's loss to the Lakers, though he sustained a right hamstring strain after playing only eight minutes and did not return. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Amir Coffey will likely see a bump in minutes due to Powell being sidelined. His next chance to play will come Wednesday against Detroit.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Leaves early with hamstring injury
Powell won't return to Sunday's game against the Lakers due to right hamstring soreness, independent NBA writer Justin Russo reports.
Powell, who was making his return from a five-game absence due to left knee patellar tendinopathy, lasted just eight minutes in Sunday's contest before going down with another injury. He'll finish the night with four points (1-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal, and given the nature of the injury, Powell is a good bet to miss time heading into the Clippers' three-game week. Amir Coffey and Bogdan Bogdanovic could be the primary beneficiaries from a playing-time standpoint for as long as Powell is sidelined.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Back in action
Powell (knee) is available for Sunday's game against the Lakers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Powell missed the last five games due to left knee patellar tendinopathy, but he will return to the lineup Sunday. With Derrick Jones (groin) sidelined, Powell figures to see a significant workload in his return.

Clippers' Norman Powell: Expected to return Sunday
Powell (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against the Lakers, Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports.
After dropping a season-high 41 points in Utah on Feb. 13, the Clippers' final game before the All-Star break, Powell has missed five straight and the team has lost four of those contests, so his return should be a big boost. With Derrick Jones (groin) still out, Powell should slide back into the starting lineup if he's given the green light Sunday.
