  • Braves' Michael Harris: Idle for series finale

Harris is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles. With Sunday's series finale beginning at 11:35 a.m. EDT and with southpaw Trevor Rogers on the bump for the Orioles, Harris will get a breather. The center fielder started each of Atlanta's first five games of July -- three against righties, two against lefties -- and went 4-for-20 with a triple, a stolen base and a run.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Swipes 12th bag

Harris went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Angels. The center fielder produced his first multi-hit performance since June 13 in what has been a very trying campaign. Over 84 games, Harris is slashing just .217/.242/.328 with six homers and 19 runs. However, with 12 steals and 43 RBI, he's actually on pace for career highs in both categories.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Sitting again Sunday

Harris is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies. Harris will hit the bench for a second straight day after a run of 75 straight starts. The consecutive days off have both come against left-handed pitching, suggesting that Atlanta may at least temporarily be viewing Harris as a strong-side platoon player while he's struggled mightily at the plate in June with a .148/.165/.261 slash line and 27.2 percent strikeout rate in 92 plate appearances. Eli White will receive another look in center field in Sunday's series finale.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Rare day off

Harris is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies. Harris is hitless in his last 19 at-bats and is just 2-for-39 in his last 11 outings. Amid his struggles, Atlanta will give Harris his second day off of the 2025 season, allowing for Eli White to man center field.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Cleared to start Wednesday

Harris (elbow) will start in center field and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Mets. Harris was removed in the bottom of the sixth of Tuesday's 7-4 win after being hit in the right elbow by a pitch, but follow-up X-rays revealed no structural damage. The outfielder apparently isn't contending with much soreness or discomfort either, as Atlanta felt comfortable enough having Harris re-enter the lineup Wednesday. Harris heads into Wednesday's contest having gone just 3-for-35 (.086 average) with no walks and nine strikeouts over his last 10 games.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Swats fifth homer

Harris went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's win over the Brewers. The center fielder opened the scoring for Atlanta by depositing a second-inning Chad Patrick cutter in the second deck in right field. Harris is showing faint signs of life at the plate, hitting safely in six of the last seven games while batting .286 (8-for-28) with two of his five homers on the season, but he still carries a career-worst .607 OPS on the season.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Steals another bag

Harris went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's loss to the Padres. The center fielder has steals in back-to-back games and is up to nine on the season in 11 attempts through 50 contests. It's a big improvement on 2024, when he went 10-for-16 on SB attempts in 110 games, but the rest of Harris' offensive performance continues to lag, as he's slashing just .225/.259/.340 with three homers, 12 runs and 29 RBI.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Swipes bag, drives in two

Harris went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 8-7 extra-inning loss to Washington. Harris hadn't logged a steal since May 4 versus the Dodgers. He hit .232 with a .302 on-base percentage over the 15 games between thefts, with five of his 13 hits in that span going for extra bases. The outfielder is 8-for-10 on stolen base attempts this season. While his speed is intact, he's struggled in nearly every other area, posting a .225/.259/.342 slash line, three home runs, 29 RBI, 12 runs scored, nine doubles and two triples through 49 contests. With Ronald Acuna (knee) set to make his season debut Friday, Harris is virtually guaranteed to be hitting in the bottom third of the order for the foreseeable future.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Tallies 10th career triple in win

Harris went 3-for-5 with a triple and two RBI in Thursday's extra-inning win over the Reds. The speedy center fielder raced around the bases Thursday for his first triple of the campaign and the 10th of his career. Harris has lost steady action as Atlanta's leadoff hitter to Alex Verdugo while Ronald Acuna (knee) continues to work his way back from the injured list, but Harris has remained productive in recent weeks. Over his last 19 outings, the 24-year-old is batting .273 (21-for-77) with one home run, five doubles, 16 RBI, six runs scored and five stolen bases.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Plates two, swipes bag

Harris went 1-for-4 with a two-run double, a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 6-3 win against Colorado. Harris came up big in the fifth inning, recording a two-out, two-run double to break a 3-3 tie and chase Colorado starter Ryan Feltner. The star outfielder had scored the tying run one frame earlier after reaching on a fielder's choice, swiping second base and subsequently crossing the plate on a pair of infield singles. Harris' slash line is still a modest .243/.263/.374, but he's been coming on strong with a .350 batting average, nine RBI and four steals over his past 10 contests.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Three hits in Wednesday's win

Harris went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Wednesday's win over the Cardinals. Shifted back into the leadoff spot against right-hander Miles Mikolas with Alex Verdugo getting the day off, Harris continued a hot streak that has seen him bat .391 (9-for-23) over his last six games with a double, a homer, two steals, three runs and five RBI. The 24-year-old center fielder is slashing just .233/.250/.367 on the season, but he's added over 100 points to his OPS over the last week.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Homer, steal in win

Harris went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Rays. Harris broke a ninth-inning tie with a two-run blast off Cole Sulser and also added his first steal of the season. The 24-year-old is off to a slow start overall, but he's tallied hits in six of nine April contests and continues to occupy the leadoff spot against right-handed pitching. On the year, he's hitting .231 with two home runs, five RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base across 58 plate appearances.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Hits leadoff in Monday's loss

Harris went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Dodgers on Monday. Atlanta was being shut out until Harris slugged a 424-foot solo homer in the eighth inning off Tanner Scott. The outfielder finished with half of his team's four hits, including Atlanta's only extra-base knock. The performance was a much-needed boost for Harris, as he came into Monday having gone just 1-for-15 with a 0:5 BB:K over his first four games. His fantasy value also looks to be on the upswing in others ways as well -- after batting sixth in the first four games of the season, Harris hit leadoff Monday in Atlanta's first game without Jurickson Profar (suspension), a spot he'll likely continue to occupy against right-handers until Ronald Acuna (knee) is back.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Three hits in Monday's contest

Harris went 3-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox. The center fielder is heating up at the plate at the right time. Harris is batting .324 (11-for-34) this spring with two homers, two steals and a 1:6 BB:K, and he figures to hit fifth or sixth this season when the Atlanta lineup is at full strength. If he can stay healthy, Harris could be poised for his first career 20-20 campaign -- he has yet to play more than 138 games in a regular season since making his MLB debut in 2022.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Logs three hits, steals base

Harris went 3-for-5 with three singles and a stolen base during Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Royals. Harris generated his fifth three-hit performance in the last eight games and swiped his 10th stolen base of the campaign. During that eight-game stretch, Harris is 17-for-35 (.486) with three home runs, nine runs and seven RBI.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Leads charge in big win

Harris went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Mets. The 23-year-old outfielder rapped an RBI double in the third inning to get Atlanta on the board before taking Luis Severino deep for a solo shot in the fourth. Harris has been on fire to close out September, slashing .417/.438/.850 over the last 13 games with seven homers, 13 RBI and 16 runs, and he's a big reason why his team is still even in the wild-card picture in the final week of the regular season.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Launches ninth homer

Harris went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 extra-innings loss to Philadelphia. Harris has gone 6-for-26 (.231) with two homers over his last six games. The outfielder has four homers over 18 games since he returned from a hamstring injury in mid-August. He's slashing .245/.289/.369 with nine homers, 31 RBI, 38 runs scored and eight stolen bases across 85 contests this season.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Swats eighth homer

Harris went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 8-6 extra-inning win over the Twins. He took Simeon Woods Richardson deep in the second inning, Harris' eighth homer of the season and third in 13 contests since returning from the IL. The 23-year-old is slashing just .240/.296/.440 during that stretch, but he's been productive with six runs and 10 RBI.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Back in Atlanta lineup

Harris (hand) will start in center field and bat sixth in Tuesday's game in Minnesota. Harris exited Sunday's game versus the Nationals after being hit by a pitch and didn't start Monday, but he entered that contest off the bench and is feeling well enough to start Tuesday's game. He's down in the No. 6 spot in the lineup while Whit Merrifield hits leadoff, although that could be just a temporary setup.

  • Braves' Michael Harris: Out Monday, could play soon

Harris (hand) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins, but he said he could realistically return to the lineup within a few days, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Harris avoided a fracture when he was hit in his left (throwing) hand by a pitch in the first inning of Sunday's loss to the Nationals, and though he said Monday that he's feeling better, he'll need to miss at least one game while he waits for the soreness to subside. Based on his comments, Harris is seemingly trending toward missing out on another start Tuesday, but a stint on the injured list doesn't appear to be in the cards just yet. Jarred Kelenic will fill in for Harris in center field Monday.
