Ilya Mikheyev RW | CHI
Blackhawks' Ilya Mikheyev: Plucks apple Wednesday
Mikheyev notched an assist and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
Mikheyev has three points, 16 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over nine contests since he returned from a two-game stint as a healthy scratch. The winger has reclaimed steady third-line minutes, but he has not received power-play time regularly at any point in 2024-25. For the season, he has five points, 36 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-2 rating over 24 outings.

Connor Murphy D | CHI
Blackhawks' Connor Murphy: Registers two helpers
Murphy notched two assists, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
Murphy snapped a four-game slump with his two-assist performance. Prior to that dry spell, he had been limited to two helpers over the first 10 games of November. Murphy's playing style relies on physicality more than offense, but he's having a pretty good year on both fronts. The 31-year-old blueliner has 10 helpers, 25 shots on net, 32 PIM, 42 hits and 60 blocked shots through 26 outings. Last season, he put up just eight points over 46 appearances.

Jason Dickinson C | CHI
Blackhawks' Jason Dickinson: Scores in Wednesday's loss
Dickinson scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Bruins.
Dickinson kept the Blackhawks close with his tally late in the second period, but a comeback didn't materialize. He snapped a six-game point drought with the goal. The 29-year-old center has moved around the lineup this season, though his defensive effort typically helps him maintain a hefty amount of ice time. Dickinson is at five goals, three assists, 25 shots on net, 40 hits, 23 blocked shots and 12 PIM through 26 appearances.

Daniil Tarasov G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Daniil Tarasov: Tending twine Thursday
Tarasov will defend the road crease against Edmonton on Thursday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
The Blue Jackets will be playing the first half of a back-to-back set Thursday, so Tarasov will be between the pipes for the first time since Nov. 16. He hasn't been very effective over his last four starts, going 0-3-1 with a 4.78 GAA and .833 save percentage.

Parker Wotherspoon D | BOS
Bruins' Parker Wotherspoon: Playing time slipping again
Wotherspoon was scratched for the third straight game to begin December when he sat out Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Wotherspoon sat just once in November after playing only two games in October. He appears to have fallen out of favor again, with Jordan Oesterle picking up playing time to begin this month. Wotherspoon didn't do anything to help his cause -- he's stuck on zero points while adding eight shots on net, 19 hits, 17 blocked shots and four PIM across 15 appearances this season.
-
Jordan Oesterle D | BOS
Bruins' Jordan Oesterle: Dishes pair of helpers
Oesterle notched two assists, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Oesterle was one of six Bruins to put up multi-point efforts, and this was his first such game of the year. He has three helpers over six appearances and has played in three straight contests, displacing Parker Wotherspoon from the lineup. Oesterle has added seven shots on net, eight blocked shots, five hits and a plus-1 rating, though he's unlikely to sustain enough offense to help in fantasy.

Andre Lee LW | LA
Kings' Andre Lee: Returned to AHL
Lee was reassigned to AHL Ontario on Thursday.
Lee was recalled Tuesday and was a healthy scratch versus Dallas on Wednesday. Lee has two assists over 16 NHL games this season.

Justin Brazeau RW | BOS
Bruins' Justin Brazeau: Two more helpers in win
Brazeau notched two assists, two shots on goal, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Blackhawks.
The Bruins have won five of their last seven games, and Brazeau has contributed five points in that span. The 26-year-old set up both of Morgan Geekie's tallies in this contest. Brazeau is up to six goals, seven helpers, 44 shots on net, 37 hits and a minus-3 rating over 26 outings. He's made improvements from last year, and due to the Bruins' depth issues, he's played his way into a middle-six role.

Alexandre Carrier D | NSH
Predators' Alexandre Carrier: Garners assist Wednesday
Carrier logged an assist in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Carrier has two helpers over his last four outings after putting up just one assist across the previous 14 games. The 28-year-old has seen top-four minutes for the bulk of the campaign, but that hasn't led to more offense amid the Predators' struggles. The blueliner is at a reasonable seven points with 21 shots on net, 28 hits, 43 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-12 rating through 26 contests. He's on pace to reach the 20-point mark for the third time in four years.
