  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Four-game, six-assist streak

Hedman put up two assists in an 8-1 victory over San Jose on Thursday.

Hedman is on a four-game, six-assist streak. He also has 10 shots in that span. A couple of seasons ago, everyone seemed to think Father Time had gotten to his game. But Hedman has put up 100 points and 128 shots in 102 games since the start of last season. The man is a workhorse who puts up elite numbers for the Bolts and fantasy managers alike.

  • Kevin Labanc RW | CLB

Blue Jackets' Kevin Labanc: Tallies in loss

Labanc scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers.

Labanc snapped an 11-game goal drought, during which he had four assists, with his opening goal at 2:31 of the first period. He's played in a season-high six straight games, though he saw just 9:44 of ice time Thursday. Labanc is tough to roster in fantasy since his defensive issues occasionally lead to him being scratched. He's up to two goals, 11 points, 23 shots on net, 20 hits and a plus-6 rating over 20 appearances this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Damon Severson: Nets goal in Thursday's loss

Severson scored a goal on three shots and blocked three shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers.

Severson had picked up five assists over his last six outings, but he'd gone eight games without a goal. The 30-year-old blueliner snapped that slump with a second-period tally. He's up to five goals, 14 points, 44 shots on net, 46 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 25 appearances in a top-four role. He's halfway to matching his point total from 67 games in 2023-24.

  • Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Goal, assist in loss

Sillinger scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers.

Sillinger set up Damon Severson's second-period tally before scoring one of his own in the final frame. The goal was Sillinger's first since Nov. 15, though he had six assists over seven contests in between tallies. The 21-year-old forward is looking good in a second-line role this season, racking up four goals, 13 helpers, 58 shots on net, 35 hits and a minus-4 rating over 24 appearances.

  • Blue Jackets' Daniil Tarasov: Poor showing in loss

Tarasov allowed six goals on 37 shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers.

Tarasov couldn't rise to the occasion on a night where the Oilers' best players looked the part. This was Tarasov's first action since Nov. 16, though he missed some time due to an illness in that span. He's now lost his last five appearances (0-4-1), allowing 25 goals in that span. For the season, the 25-year-old netminder is at 3-5-1 with a 4.26 GAA and an .858 save percentage. If his performance doesn't improve soon, Jet Greaves may get a longer look in the backup role behind Elvis Merzlikins, who is likely to start Friday in Vancouver.

  • Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Named to US roster for 4 Nations

Guentzel scored a goal and added an assist Thursday in an 8-1 win over the Sharks.

He also had five shots, one block and a plus-4 rating. Guentzel has a goal in each of his last two games, plus an assist, and he's put up 24 points (11 goals, 13 assists) and 66 shots in 24 games this season. His work this season has earned him a role on Team USA for the 4-Nations Cup, which will be held early in the year. Guentzel is a point-per-game fantasy sniper on a strong team. Enough said?

  • Oilers' Mattias Janmark: Posts assist in win

Janmark logged an assist and two PIM in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Janmark has three helpers over his last eight contests. He hasn't scored since Nov. 3, logging a total of eight assists during his 14-game goal drought. The defensive forward is up to 11 points -- one shy of matching his total from 2023-24 -- through 26 appearances this season.

  • Oilers' Adam Henrique: Bags pair of apples

Henrique logged two assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Henrique helped out on second-period tallies by Mattias Ekholm and Jeff Skinner. With six helpers over his last seven contests, Henrique has been effective from his third-line role. His power-play helper Thursday was his first contribution with the man advantage this season. The center has nine points, 43 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 19 hits and a plus-4 rating over 26 appearances. He's also shooting just 4.7 percent, so Henrique could rebound once some of his shots start going in.

  • Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Logs two helpers

Nugent-Hopkins posted two assists, including one on the power play, and four shots on goal in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Nugent-Hopkins has multiple points in two of his last three contests. The 31-year-old forward also earned his first power-play point since Nov. 9 versus the Canucks in this contest. For the season, the winger is up to four goals, 10 helpers (four on the power play), 57 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating across 26 appearances. Nugent-Hopkins remains in a top-six role, but his current pace would put him below the 50-point mark for the first time in a full season since 2017-18.

  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Dishes two helpers

Bouchard notched a pair of assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

Bouchard has two goals and eight helpers over his last seven outings. He was involved early Thursday, helping out on the Oilers' first two goals of the game. The 25-year-old blueliner is at 20 points, 68 shots on net, 44 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 26 contests this season, though he has just five power-play points so far, compared to earning 35 of his 82 points with the man advantage during the 2023-24 regular season.
