  • Maple Leafs' Brandon Carlo: First point since trade

Carlo notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Senators.

Carlo ended a 12-game point drought that began during his time with the Bruins. He was traded to the Maple Leafs at the deadline and has assumed a top-four role with his new team. The 28-year-old is still a shutdown defenseman, so he'll balance out the more offense-inclined play of Morgan Rielly most of the time. Carlo has 10 points, 64 shots on net, 128 blocked shots, 71 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 67 appearances.

  • Maple Leafs' Nicholas Robertson: Bags helper in loss

Robertson notched an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Senators.

Prior to Saturday, Robertson was scratched for two games and had earned just one assist over his previous five outings. The winger set up William Nylander's opening goal in the second period of this contest. Robertson has 18 points, 87 shots on net, 57 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 56 appearances this season, well behind his 27 points in 56 games in 2023-24. He's not a lock to be in the lineup, and that makes him too unreliable for most fantasy managers.

  • Scott Morrow D | CAR

Hurricanes' Scott Morrow: Nets first career goal

Morrow scored his first NHL goal in Saturday's 5-0 shutout victory against Philadelphia.

Morrow found the back of the net for his first career goal by backhanding a deflection off Philadelphia's Samuel Ersson. The 22-year-old Morrow has been highly effective offensively from the blue line with three points in his first six games of the season. While Morrow's call-up to the NHL was in relief of the injured Dmitri Orlov (upper-body), Morrow has made a strong case to remain with Carolina until the playoffs and could be an exciting name in fantasy for the Hurricanes in future years.

  • Senators' Michael Amadio: Deposits empty-netter

Amadio scored an empty-net goal on two shots and added four hits in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

Amadio is growing in confidence with four goals and three assists over eight outings in March. The 28-year-old has also earned extra ice time with that run -- his 18:37 in Saturday's contest was his fourth-highest total of the season. He's still officially on the third line, but the Senators appear to trust any of their top-nine forwards with large roles. Amadio has nine goals, 21 points, 66 shots on net, 82 hits and a plus-5 rating over 56 outings. This is his third straight year to finish above the 20-point mark.

  • Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Slumping on offense

Dellandrea's point drought reached 11 games in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Capitals.

Dellandrea has racked up 39 hits, but he's added just nine shots on net, 10 PIM and a minus-4 rating in that span. The 24-year-old forward remains consistently in the lineup for a Sharks team that is currently carrying two spare forwards. His defensive work provides some on-ice value, but the lack offense makes him a non-factor in fantasy. Dellandrea is at just six points with 37 shots on net, 41 PIM, 141 hits and 38 blocked shots over 54 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Reaches 50-point mark with goal

Celebrini scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Capitals.

Celebrini's third-period tally spoiled Logan Thompson's shutout bid. This was Celebrini's third goal and sixth point over his last six outings. The 18-year-old rookie reached the 50-point mark Saturday (21 goals, 29 helpers), becoming the second rookie to hit that threshold, following the Canadiens' Lane Hutson. Celebrini has added 196 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and a minus-27 rating over 56 appearances.

  • Capitals' Trevor van Riemsdyk: First goal in over two years

Van Riemsdyk scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.

The goal was van Riemsdyk's first since March 9, 2023. The defenseman has maintained a steady spot in the Capitals' lineup as a bottom-four option, but that's a massive drought for any player. He snapped a 10-game point drought with the tally as well. For the season, van Riemsdyk has contributed 17 points, 68 shots on net, 117 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating over 67 appearances. His play isn't fantasy-friendly, but he tends to be fairly steady and reliable on the ice.

  • Filip Chytil C | VAN

Canucks' Filip Chytil: Suffers injury Saturday

Chytil (upper body) left Saturday's 6-2 win over Chicago late in the third period and there was no update on his status after game, per Kevin Woodley of NHL.com.

Chytil stumbled when he attempted to get off the ice, which wasn't a good sign, given his concussion history. The 25-year-old forward has two goals and four assists in 15 games with the Canucks since being acquired from the Rangers in late January. If Chytil can't play against Utah on Sunday, Jonathan Lekkerimaki will probably be in the lineup.

  • Taylor Raddysh RW | WAS

Capitals' Taylor Raddysh: Finds twine Saturday

Raddysh scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.

Raddysh stretched the Capitals' lead to 3-0 at 18:55 of the first period. The 27-year-old winger has two goals over eight outings in March and remains in a bottom-six role, which will make it tough for him to have a larger impact. Overall, he's produced seven goals, 26 points, 74 shots on net, 49 hits and a plus-2 rating over 67 appearances.

  • Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Scores again in win

Protas scored a goal and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.

Protas has six goals and two assists over his last five contests, a span in which he's added 10 shots on net and a plus-11 rating. That level of offense is unsustainable for every player, but it's a good burst of production from one of the league's top even-strength performers this season. Through Saturday's action, Protas is tied for seventh in the NHL with 54 even-strength points. He's at 29 goals, 59 points, 126 shots on net and a league-best plus-41 rating through 67 appearances. While shooting 23.0 percent is a red flag for future regression, Protas has been too good to ignore in 2024-25.
