Sundqvist (knee) isn't expected to participate in training camp, but he should be fine for the start of the regular season, according to Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic on Wednesday.
Sundqvist had six goals and 21 points in 71 games with St. Louis last season. The 30-year-old should open the season in a bottom-six role, provided he's healthy enough to play.
