Doncic will sit out Thursday against the Bucks due to a sprained right ankle, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.
Thursday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and Doncic has been managing the injury for a bit, so the Lakers will give him the night off to recover. During Wednesday's 120-108 win over the Nuggets, Doncic recorded 31 points (10-21 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 7-10 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one steal in 32 minutes. With Doncic sidelined, Jordan Goodwin, Shake Milton, Gabe Vincent and Bronny James could all see more minutes out of the Los Angeles backcourt.
